Official TNA Lockdown 2013 PPV Discussion Thread (SA, Texas) - Bully vs. Hardy

TNA President Dixie Carter announced that this Sunday's Lockdown PPV in San Antonio, Texas has officially broken the attendance record for a TNA event in the United States.

"San Antonio's #Lockdown just officially became the biggest selling US Live Event for TNA. Thanks!! Now how about making it the biggest ever?"

At last word, TNA had sold over 6,000 tickets for Lockdown. The previous record was about 5,500 fans for last year's Slammiversary PPV in Arlington, Texas.

Tickets for the Chicago taping 4 days later are also right after Lockdown sales.:

So they cut back lots of PPVs to have longer builds and throw matches like Park/Ryan around without building it, when the promos would be absolute gold? :sad:

I am very excited for this PPv. I am excited for World Title Match, Angle vs Briscoe and Lethal Lockdown match. Also 3 way X Division match can steal the show as York and King has lots of potential and Ion is damn good when he doesn't botch. I am not sure how that X Division title match and Ryan vs Park match come up, hate to see Ryan in main roster as he doesn't deserve it. Wonder what will AJ do in the PPv. Probably he will save TNA or he will betray to TNA.

I am curious about Wes, I saw some potential in him, this match will show how he is.

According to PWInsider, Bobby Roode is in San Antonio, TX. He and TNA have worked out the contract issues and he will be working tonight's PPV. His contact expiring was Bruce Prichard's fault, but the situation has been rectified.

Busted Open Radio (who are at Lockdown) have also mentioned a Bobby Roode sighting.
