Which moves don't take a suspension of belief lol? Everyone jumps in time with the RKO, everyone allows Punk to rest them on his shoulders before the GTS and people didn't run for the hills as soon as Hulk pointed or Austin gut kicked you.

Yes, but... in a different way. Looking from inside kayfabe, so to speak.

Rock is a lot bigger than Ziggs, also it's wrestling these things happen regularly.

im not 12 years old, believe me, i know that, but with all the hype they feed us with the 434 days.... i knew rock was winning anyways, but at least give it a proper burial

Would a Rock Bottom really be all that different? I know I would have liked to see it, but it isn't exactly the most devastating finisher ever.

So JBL's clothesline was more deadly than a regular one ( I know he put torque on it but we've seen other guys run through people without any wins, take Ryback for instance he still needs to hit Shellshock to win), what makes the brogue kick different from a big boot actually?

I get what you're saying but yeah I'm just being awkward.

Or Jake Roberts. His finisher was just a normal DDT. Not a lifting or spiking, just a normal DDT.

exactly my point

i would have rather seeing rock winning by cheating than with some lame ass move
rock elbow and rock bottom.. compare them to chokeslam or superkick, or pedigree, or let me go further, the piledriver..., is like the stupid elbow that sandow throws (and i like sandow) but its BS...

so the guy that went thru a TLC with ryback, gets pinned by an elbow to the chest ... oh my....

Punk wasn't buried, hell he only lost because of a technicality ( the restart) plus he lost to one of the biggest stars ever, someone who beat Cena clean ( possibly the biggest thing outside of beating Taker in the E currently.)

Johnny Ace is such a master seller he sells not selling like a champ.

The superkick is just a kick. Tons of wrestlers use the superkick as a move without taking people out. It all comes down to the character. If Dolph superkicks me, I'm kicking out. If HBK does it. I stay down. If @seabs elbow drops me, I no sell. If the Rock does it, I stay down or he'll go stiff on me.

Well, I'm glad you liked my point. But yes, that's what I'm saying, it's weird when one guy hits a move and wins and another doesn't (given that they're similar in build) and when a move that most people use as a basic, simple move midmatch and the guy fancies it up and beats people with it.

But Jake was the first one to use it iirc, so then, it made sense for him to have it as a finisher.
