The easy prediction is that HHH makes sure Cena wins. Who's "better for the business?" In kayfabe, it's easily the less controversial, better looking guy who won't go as far to rebel against management. So HHH turns heel and Cena will end up having to choose between HHH's power and his own "hustle loyalty respect" stuff. Maybe it's where Cena finally turns heel. Punk outpopping Cena tonight is a good sign that that's a possibility.
Would be a huge leap of faith to do that but if Punk's current shirt sales atm are a sign of what his value will keep being then it isn't out of the question. Would say Punk could side with HHH but kind of goes against Punk's whole anti establishment character he got going so idk.

The only thing about a Cena heel turn: right now, there's a clear vulnerability, a clear reason to turn. Cena's always got some boos, but they never intentionally put Cena's popularity up against someone else's, not when Cena's lead is tenuous at best. Take a look at other huge heel turns:

Hulk Hogan. There was nothing left for his character to do as a face. Hogan got a lot of negative reactions in 95-96 after his big start in WCW. The people were quitting on Hogan, he had reason to turn.

Steve Austin. He had just lost a year to injury. And instead of dominating as he had before, he was going even with HHH, and the crowd was split between them. Again, there's the vulnerability that explains the turn.

Cena's vulnerable from a popularity standpoint, but not from a wrestling standpoint. If they really wanted to set up the turn, they set it up by having Cena lose clean a few times, give some sense that he can't go as well as he could before.

Punk's got the most fascinating character in wrestling right now (next to ROH's Kevin Steen). He's so obviously full of shit with his "voice of the voiceless" shtick. HHH was right to call him on it. He likes the attention, and that's all. He could conceivably give all that up if it benefited him to go corporate. But he hasn't had momentum for nearly long enough to pull that off like Rock did in 1998.

Punk vs Alberto is a weird match to have. Especially if you consider Cena had Swagger

Cena ain't turning heel either. Like Chavo and Dave Lagana said on the new IWantWrestling podcast, Cena's merchandise is a big seller and as long as that's still happening, he ain't turning heel.
