That was the RAW we were all hoping for. The RAW that WrestleMania NEEDED.

Comfortably the best weekly show of the year. Doubt it will be topped.

What?

Good stuff from Miz.

Cena was pretty bad. He hyped it up as a "final knockout," and all he did was make more jokes. A couple of the jokes were good. A few of them were embarrassingly bad. He seemed like he was really proud of himself for his half-decent lines, but it obviously ended nothing. And he didn't (couldn't?) match the Rock's intensity. It's like these two are in different feuds or something.

Does Cena seriously think these sexual inuendo lines are cool? They serve no purpose whatsoever other than to seem edgy and the crowd didn't even react to them.

I was on about Cena, PHX.
Yeah I know what you meant just was like what about being the worst thing you ever heard considering he's done much much much worse. I thought the digs about him not showing up was great and to be fair the crowd didn't react to a lot anyways.

Great stuff from Miz. The build has been bagged on but that really made some of the feud neglect make sense.

Rocky owned him, VIA SATELLITE

and PHX, I guess I could of reworded what I wrote originally alot better. Basically, for a '2nd round KO' according to his words, that was one of the worst comebacks i've heard him deliver. Seemed like some of the stuff he was saying was just to try and match Rock's edgeyness with him using alot of ASS and BITCH references.

Miz totally saved that segment though but it still needs some more actual build though.

I mean yeah he should have done a serious promo but compared to the super watered down joke promo's he's done this year that wasn't "one of the worst things I've ever heard" the promo he did the other week deserved that tag much more than this one.

They let him say "ass" and make dirty jokes this month. That doesn't improve the quality of what he said at all.

Miz absolutely saved that last segment. Cena's 'final knockout' was complete garbage.

In that case then I agree as he should have came much stronger than that. I did like a few of the jokes tho and the shirt was gold. 1st rap promo was miles better however.

He was actually serious in the first rap promo. Tonight he stuck with his ridiculous over the top jokes that for the most part are not funny at all. In fact I think I smirked 1 time during the promo. Didn't laugh at all.

Which is weird to me because this week called for a serious promo more than last week considering the serious nature of Rock's promo

I think Cena just mailed this one in so that Miz could have his chance to shine. Cena can be much more serious than that even without rapping. They used bait(Cena) and switch(Miz), to put the focus on the fact Miz is tired of being ignored by both Cena and Rock.

Could they have added an extra serious element using Cena? Hell yeah. Could Miz possibly follow Cena at his best on the mic? I doubt it.

They just wanted to make Miz look good and get him and the actual main event some spotlight with 3 more weeks of TV time left

Anybody else catch that a fan jumped the rail after Miz hit Cena with the gold the first time?

After Miz hit Cena with the belt there was a prolonged close up of Miz's face and after they zoom out if you look up the ramp you can see a security guard escorting what I assume is a fan.

^ I'm looking for that now and can't find it.

Thoughts on RAW:
- Top show from top to bottom, of course, there was the bad segment of the weak with the Divas, but the rest was solid-good.
- Love what they're doing with Punk and Orton. The people who are booking this feud and Cole/Lawler should be called up to book the Main Event.
- No extra matches announced for Mania is puzzling.
- Taker/HHH is being built well. I expect an interaction soon though.
- Austin/JBL/Cole segment was the hottest segment of the night, and was very well done with Austin signing the contract.
- Sheamus/Daniel Bryan should happen at WrestleMania, not on RAW next week. I expect Sheamus to go to SmackDown.
- Cena's promo was extremely average. Not as good as his first rap promo. Not sure why. He has so much to work with.
- Finally a proper Miz/Cena feud progressor. Miz saving this feud.
