As a heel he's only a good placeholder until Barrett and Henry come back. As a face he can carry the brand and have a shot at being the top face SD needs. (Sheamful doesn't draw)

Christian's better as a heel, but the fans really like him and want to cheer him. Why fight it? Smackdown was exciting for the 5 days he was WHC.
