Official NXT Takeover: Unstoppable Discussion Thread

On Tuesday night, tune in to WWE Network at 9/8 C for a special preview of TakeOver: Unstoppable. Host Corey Graves will get you caught up on all the latest NXT news and information heading into TakeOver.

Wednesday night, coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT with the live NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable Pre-Show. During the Pre-Show, Graves, Renee Young and Byron Saxton will run down the night of action and analyze what the future holds for NXT. The Pre-Show will air on WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest and Pheed.

Then, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable goes LIVE on WWE Network. The biggest rivalries in NXT will come to a head at one of the most anticipated events in NXT history.

The build up for Owens/Zayn on RAW has got me even more pumped for this

Put my booking hat on, I would want Kevin Owens to end the match with a lowblow DQ and goes into EC as the NXT champion, him and Cena tear the house down and some guy in a mask costs Owens in his major debut and fucks up his big break and we now have our rubber match set for the next big NXT show with a winner getting a main roster contract.....maybe ladder.

I enjoy the payoff and logic but having two matches back to back that a lot of people really looking forward to end with screwy finishes would be odd

I think Zayn losing his belt in such a dominant fashion would play a bigger part in Zayn looking like he has the match won and about to regain his title and then Owens takes the shortcut to save his title reign, and Zayn donning a Generico mask to screw him over on the mainstage would quiet any criticism from fans of NXT and WWE haters.

Could also do a few weeks of stories of Zayn playing dumb to who that masked man was and Owens wanting to kill him, but he needs to provide evidence that Zayn was in the mask......could have Generico in WWE for a tiny stint....and Owens finally says he will put the belt on the line to entice Zayn in a match so he could get his ultimate vengeance on him for fucking up his chance to taking that brass ring on Elimination Chamber by smashing the face of the company and couldn't make the money that comes with that since his whole character motivation is about making money to put food on his families plate.

Not really hyped for this event in all honesty other than the main event but I'm sure it will still deliver like it usually does. Hoping the tag titles change hands and it seems the most likely of the 3 to change aswell.

I gotta say, I loved Unstoppable. Excellent show. I even liked Rhyno/Corbin. Banks and Lynch was fucking fantastic. I would honestly rate it as the best singles women's match I've seen in years, even beating out that Much heralded Women's match from the 1st Takeover show. Who was that? Charlotte and Nattie?

I actually enjoyed Banks/Lynch more than Nattie/Charlotte because Nattie/Charlotte felt very formulaic and they watched Benoit/Hart from Nitro quite a few times in their lives.

only thing that upset me was Lynch no selling the arm before her comeback leading to her arm work

I can agree with that especially after Banks looked like she legit broke Lynch's arm with that divorce court on the apron.

Honestly looked like she hit face first at first and I thought she would come up with a broken nose or something. That match was fucking brutal and it was sloppy at parts but nothing that took away from the flow really. I was impressed by both girls.

Main event was ridiculously fun and honestly I was blown away by Joe just because I didn't expect him to appear this soon even if he did sign.
