^WTF, Seattle moved to Oklahoma? Wow. Well, I don't watch the NBA that much anyways, but I know enough about it, but I guess I didn't pay attention enough to hear about that, lol.

Orlando will be a great team this year now that Dwight is getting more mature and knows how to handle the ball. I won't be surprised if he wins MVP.
As for the whole Seattle Supersonics changed to Oklahoma City Thunder, I think they should've kept it in Seattle. Now that's 1 Sport taken away from that city. I don't know if they have a Hockey team but the only major team there now is the Seattle Seahawks which is NFL lol...

I hate to say it but I don't think the Cavs are going deep into the playoffs this year, the Raptors getting Jermaine O'Neal paired with Chris Bosh is gonna be pain in the ass since they're gonna rape everyone who comes to the paint.
But I think the Pistons are gonna be overrated this year, YEAH I said it SP! Oklahoma City naming their team the Thunder=FAIL, I hope the Celtics don't win it all this year. I can't fucking stand the Celtics with a huge and strong passion.
But I made my only bold predicton so far: Michael Beasley winning 2008-09 Rookie of The Year.

Kobe Bryant will not have surgery on his right pinkie because recovery would take too long.
Bryant has played with damaged ligaments in the finger since February, but said Tuesday that he won't have surgery after seeking opinions from hand specialists.
Smart decision, its just a pinkie finger, its not like its gonna take 10 weeks to heal...
All you have to do is tape it if you're playing some ball

they have a chance to get the 8th spot in the playoffs maybe but its too soon to tell.. they had like the worst record last year so its too soon to predict a playoff spot imo...

NBA News

FOX Sports said:
Miami Heat rookie Michael Beasley was fined $50,000 by the NBA on Thursday after acknowledging that he was involved in an incident involving teammate Mario Chalmers and Memphis' Darrell Arthur at the Rookie Transition Program this month.
The NBA said Beasley, the No. 2 overall pick, originally failed to cooperate with the league investigation of the matter. The Heat said Beasley eventually chose to reveal that he was part of the incident.

Chalmers and Arthur, former Kansas teammates, were fined $20,000 apiece last week after being banished from the rookie symposium. They were found in a room at the resort where the event was taking place with two women — which violated NBA policy for the event. Security at the resort said the scent of marijuana was detected, but no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found, and Chalmers and Arthur both insisted they were not using any illegal substances.
Beasley's involvement in the incident is not clear. He filed papers to dissolve the relationship with his agent, Joel Bell, last week, and was not available for comment Thursday.
Thats the last thing that I would expect from them...
Miami needs Beasley this season, hopefully he doesn't mess it up.

FOX Sports said:
Boston Celtics forward Darius Miles has been suspended without pay for 10 games for violating the terms of the anti-drug program at the end of the 2007-08 season.

Miles' suspension will begin with the first game of the 2008-09 regular season for which he is eligible and physically able to play. Miles has missed the past two NBA seasons because of knee injuries. He has averaged 10.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in his career.
Hes a great ball player but its not a huge loss for them. He'll probably play the bench 80% of the time lol

FOX Sports said:
Gilbert Arenas had a third operation on his bothersome left knee Wednesday morning, once again throwing into doubt his status for an upcoming Washington Wizards season.

Arenas had a "moderate amount of debris" removed from the knee after experiencing swelling and discomfort during his rehabilitation. The Wizards offered no timetable for his return — beyond the fact that he obviously won't be ready for the start of training camp next week — but Arenas told The Washington Post that he plans to be back on the court in early December, which would rule him out for the first month of the season.
The Wizzards are nothing without Arenas...
He's the whole team lol
