It wouldn't surprise me actually. They have bigger and better things planned with the 1,000th Raw coming up and a lot of guys coming back. I expect in the next month we'll have Brock/HHH, Rock back in some shape or form, guys like Henry, Mysterio, Barrett, Orton coming back from injury/suspension.

This feud was a stop-gap to get WWE by until the real shit they had planned could get underway.

I just expect it will somehow be revealed tonight that DB was just trying to bribe AJ into helping him win and he doesn't like her (that much is obvious) and Punk/AJ will go on and have a short lived romance angle.
