As well as Ozil has played for us so far, I don't think he has played as well as people are saying. Apart from most of the Sunderland game, I personally don't think he has dominated anybody. It has all been a combined effort from every single player, with Ozil getting most of the assists and Ramsey and Giroud with the goals.

Ramsey has been our player of the season by far, with Giroud second. Our most underrated has to be Flaimini, who I knew could make a difference and was always going to be a smart signing. I read a ton of negativity from Arsenal fans when he was signed and I couldn't understand why.

To me, since Ozil has joined - the Arsenal team has suddenly decided to play at a higher standard of quality; and you look at Ozil stats, he has made many positives already imo.

That's why he's a difference maker over Ramsey, Ramsey might be looking like a better threat but Ozil just seems to do a lot. Better than any signing Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Spurs, Madrid etc have made this summer. Legit World Class player.

Actually I think our much improved style of play came before we got Ozil. Since the Villa loss, we went on to beat Fenerbahce 3-0, Fulham 3-1, Fenerbahce 2-0 and Tottenham 1-0. The following game was the Sunderland one, which is when Ozil debuted, and he has slotted in seamlessly. He hasn't been the only reason why we've gone 10 games unbeaten considering we'd strung 4 of them together without him.

Sure he's a difference maker and is a world class signing, but absolutely nobody has played better than Ramsey this season.

Even if that is true I still don't see why thats a bad thing? Also should you not give Wenger credit for being able to presuede him to sign?

I feel that I have the keeper and Enrique in my DT that would have been twelve points right there...

What a result for West Ham at Tottenham, boy did they need that. Looks like Arsenal haven't dropped points after all...

The result of the weekend actually came from my Mum's local team Morecambe as they came back from three nil down to beat lead leaders Chesterfield 4-3!

Never expected such an open and great game of football last night. Poland played their part too, but overall we were good value for the 2-0. Never in doubt...

Baines, Rooney and Townsend were the standouts.

Baines is the best LB in the world imo, been saying it for years.

Would certainly have him ahead of Cole right now. His cross for Rooney's goal was perfection.

Baines is so undorothox at times is probably what makes him so good - I'd be interested to see him as a left mid with Cole behind him. Have him replace Welbeck and see how it goes.

Still don't like Townsend being a pansy on his feet and seemingly taking pot shots at goal a lot.

Rooney actually seemed to care about playing for England for a change \o/.

Interesting idea with Baines that could actually work quite well.

Can't agree on Townsend, he had an even better game last night than last Friday. Not only did he fill that Walcott gap with his pace and directness but he also showed great composure when getting into the box and picking out the right pass. Unless his form drops dramatically I would have him at least in the squad for next summer.
