Official Die Hard 5 Movie

I will be seeing it mainly cause Bruce Willis is one of my favorite actors and Die Hard I is in my top 10 movies but this just looks like explosions and guns just for the sake of it.

Die Hard 4 sucked, why even bother with this new one? They going to PG 13 this one too?

Willis does a game changing movie like Looper and then goes back to an obviously dry well......why?

I'm quite looking forward to this. Regardless of what negative attention it will get the previous four movies have been fantastic and I'm expecting this one to be even better. Admittedly the first three movies will always be the best ones but I can't wait until Died Hard 5 comes out! I would imagine this will be Bruce Willis' last Die Hard sequel as he is getting on a bit. I'd expect him to do a few more movies and then retire. The trailer looks amazing as well.

Trailer looked pretty decent it didn't seem to give too much away. Personally I like the idea of John McClane getting old Indy getting old but still managing to kick some ass. As far as previous movies everyone dogging Die Hard 4 but was it any worse then Die Hard 2? Personally I think 2 is the worst and aside from the desire to make Live Free or Die Hard PG13 (which is a smart move though the unrated DVD should have been a bit more unrated worthy) I didn't see anything wrong with it.

Agreed with deezy. DH4 was pretty shit compared to the original trilogy. But it wasn't the fact it was PG13, it just wasn't a very good or believable movie. Like when his daughter is hitting on the hacker boy when they're both tied up and being held hostage by armed terrorists... so fucking stupid. Yeah, hooking up would totally be the first thing on my mind in that situation.

Bad dialogue too. So bad it's great in some instances.

Hacker - "My God it's a fire sale!"
FBI guy - "WHAT did you day?"
Hacker - "What? I was just saying... it looks like a fire sale..."
FBI guy - "SHUT UP."

You don't have to 'buy' it metaphorically speaking. I think most people forget that movies are for entertainment and although they are meant to depict what happens in reality (sometimes) we know that most of the time they don't and they are really spontaneous. The only film that has ever been 'real' is Forest Gump, everyone could relate to the movie and if your as sad as me then you'll watch it at least once a year. Nonetheless, I look forward to watching this latest release.

The trilogy was more than enough, there was no reason to make IV we dont need a fifth movie.

Probably one of the few on here who's favorite Die Hard was Die Hard with a Vengeance. Just always liked that one the best. But anyways they should have stopped 3 or did a better job with 4. 5 just isn't needed at all.

Moments like that were the least of that films problems I mean stuff like that normally happen in that kind of film. The two main flaws I felt were that Willis just didn't convince you as a action heroe anymore for the first time in a Die Hard film he did start to show his age. Also the modern computer storyline was just shoe horned in and was never convincing. It had its moments, but overall was a bit of a mess.

I loved Die Hard with a Vengeance. Samuel L. Jackson was a perfect casting choice too.
