i know just dont make the same mistake as last season

Exactly, still think that it was a bit of a blip though, some of the Celtic rejects that Strachen brought in ruined us imo, and Mogga is only just starting to bring in his own players and offloading the Strachen lads, at least Strachen brought in a few stars ala, Bailey, Robson, Scotty Mac, but on the whole yeah, Strachen killed us. Just imagine if it was Mogga who had the parachute payments and not Strachen, we would probably be back in the Prem by now. :upset:

If? It's more than likely when lol, we're tightening up a bit at the back but Llera is always prone to the odd gaffe.

I don't think if will be embarrassing tbh lol, yeah we are the stronger team but we have a strong history of losing games at home just as we start to bring the fans back, we've got 20,000 there on Friday lol should be a fantastic crowd and I'm guessing Wed will bring a few.
We play our bogey team tomorrow in Forest and then when we play you it will be our 3rd game in 9 days which is pretty ridiculous imo, plus with the lack of strength in depth that we have we may field a slightly weaker squad as players like Woodgate just can't play that many games, I agree I'm hoping for a win and I think given current form we probably should but no way will it be like Charlton, it will be 2-0 I think but you never know with our sleepy defense, every time we go ahead our defense just lacks concentration, Wed are a decent Championship side, it won't be a battering, in fact I can sort of see you getting a sneaky win.

If and this is a big if Bothroyd shows up like he did against Leeds we'll be in with a shot IMO, he's such a great outlet on the left when he's on it. Hopefully Madine comes and bites you in the arse for letting him go from your academy also lol. Yeah I'm not saying we'll be slaughtered either tbh, we seem pretty OK defensively bar little slips in concentration so I can't see you getting too many plus Kirkland is a class act still, scoring will be our problem, COG leads the line well in this 4-5-1 we play but he tends to go backwards a lot and Barkley playing that many games in such a short period of time could be an issue, same with McCabe and Corry.

God I come across as a cocky prick in that post lol, I'm starting to think Boro are way better than they are with our form, guess I'm just getting excited lol, still think the PO is our best hope, can't see us getting automatic at all, we are too unreliable / bottle it.

Wouldn't say you were cocky lol, it's just a case of being passionate about your team lol. On paper you are probably better than us across the board (we possibly have the stronger keeper and CM - Kirkland, McCabe, Barkley, Semedo and Corry are all really tidy players, especially the first two, they've both gotten a fair but of hype around them)

Forgot about Kirkland also, he's a great keeper and it will be very hard to beat him, the hope we have is Woodgate and Steele, if both play then I will say the same about our defense, as Steele is one of if not the best shot stopper in the league imo and Woodgate is Woodgate, he's far too good for this league, we haven't really had a problem with goals this year, we've had 18 different goal scorers so far but if Mcdonald doesn't show up I worry, I don't want to have to rely on midfielders to save us, he's started scoring for fun atm but we need a full time out and out goal scorer.

What kind of player is he? We're really slow at CB with Gardner and Llera... expect Semedo to rough you up in midfield a bit (not a dirty roughing up but he'll do the dirty work if that makes sense) and he'll possibly try to wind any of your players up like he did with Diouf.

He's very technical along the lines of a slightly quicker Kevin Phillips, so speed shouldn't be a problem at all unless Emnes plays then that might be a problem, but luckily for you his finishing is a bit iffy and he is very ball greedy so with Kirkland in goal it might not be a problem, Ishmael Miller could start also and he is a massive beast of a player, unfortunately that's basically all he can do. Thought Semedo was hilarious with Diouf but god I hope he doesn't do as much with us lol, we have Bailey who although is brilliant, he has a very short fuse so he could get a sending off and Andre Bikey who is also a battering ram seems a bit of a dick off the pitch tbf, so he could also get a stupid sending off. Overall I'm really looking forward to it and hopefully it should just be a really good game of football, although our fans have a bad reputation they aren't that bad, so it will be a better display than the Leeds scum, may the best team win at the end of the day, both are good footballing sides that never get in bother so again it should just be a hard fought battle.

It'll be a decent game I'm sure, expect Semedo to definitely have a go at Bailey or Bikey then lol. Emnes always raped me on FM proper used to annoy me also :downer: hoping he doesn't play, also Miller sounds like COG for us strong as fuck but not much else to his game. Never heard much about your fan base tbh.

Lol, that's what I was expecting, hopefully Mowbray can manage to keep them focused on the game only though. Lmao that's weird as he was always terrible for me, I wouldn't worry too much about him, he's extremely inconsistent and a family member of his has just passed away so I'm not sure he will play anyway. Hopefully Bikey can handle that COG if he stays on then as usually we are terrible against big lads. The whole fan thing goes back to when we played at Ayeresome Park and our fans admittedly were a bit filthy back then but despite the fact that it was basically only our firm who went to the games then and now we are a way bigger cluband never cause any bother but people just look at our past and judge us that way. :upset:
