Washington quarterback Alex Smith, who suffered a devastating tibia and fibula fracture in 2018, has received clearance from his surgical team to return to full football activity.

Smith, who spoke to ESPN while filming an update for his E:60 documentary, "Project 11," is going through COVID-19 testing and expects to report Monday to the team's facility, where he will undergo a team physical.

Jamal Adams is moving on to the western part of US, being traded to the Seahawks:

After a seven-month contract dispute, the New York Jets agreed to trade All-Pro safety Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks for a package that includes first-round draft picks in each of the next two years.

The Seahawks will send safety Bradley McDougald, first-round picks in 2021 and 2022 and a third-round pick in 2021 to New York in exchange for Adams and the Jets' fourth-round pick in 2022. The deal is pending physicals.

I know that Adams is a happier guy to play for a playoff contending team that is the Seahawks. For the Jets, they get two first round picks out of the deal which I think is a win-win, if they are smart enough to use the picks wisely.

In other news, defensive end Michael Bennett announced his retirement from football this past Tuesday.

Honestly think the trade is just bad overall for the Jets, even with gaining two First Round Draft Picks. Their history of just awful first round draft picks (Jamal, Sheldon Richardson, and Darrelle Revis aside) really makes me think they're going to buttfumble on this one again.
