Bruh Mahomes got a Contract Extension for 10 Years yes 10 Years all the way to 2031. I wanna see what is the money looking like though damn my heart just stopped when I saw the News.

My eyes were completely wide open, when I saw that Mahomes signed a humongous 10-year $503 million contract with the team. He's already proven himself worthy of such contract, by winning the NFL MVP Award in 2018 and leading his team to a Super Bowl victory the next season, for the first time in 50 years for the Chiefs. And to top it off, he claims the Super Bowl MVP Award for his SB performance. Not many people would agree, but a contract like that he deserves every penny for his accomplishments for the past two seasons. As long as the offensive line protects their crown jewel quarterback and with a supporting cast of receivers around him., I guarantee you he'll win more championships.

They just better hope they can pay the others or else it will crash around him. Brady deserved big pay but he didn’t take as much as he truly deserved to help the team out. Hopefully Patrick will do the same if that’s needed down the road. Take a pay cut.

I think it's too late anyway tbh, probably could have gotten away with it when people first wanted the name to be changed like 20 years ago bc it was a slur but it's pretty having your team named after a whole race of people, even ignoring how badly Natives were treated. Plus I'm 99% sure I read last week that they weren't going to go with any sort of Native theme so it'll be be something new anyway.

Those names aren't the whole race though lol they're specific titles so they are different than say Redskins and Indians which I think are far more egregious. Be like naming a team the Chicago Jews or Cleveland Crackers lmaoooo

While on the subject, Blackhawks got an easy out anyway since they can just become the bird.
