Like most everybody, I look at NXT as the joke brand of WWE, a show full of losers that don't matter that nobody cares about and no reason to exist.

Now that may all be true, but after the news broke that NXT was getting moved and rebranded in Florida, I checked out a couple of episodes and followup matches for people that looked respectable, and was actually pretty surprised at how good most of the wrestling was. Now there's no real way around that the storylines are pointless and honestly not even featured very much from what i've seen. But their roster actually works quite well, and is deserving of checking out if you have 30-60 minutes on your hands and need to kill some time. There are the ex-WWE guys like Tyson Kidd, McGillicutty, Tatsu who are strong talents in the ring. Hawkins & Reks and The Usos bring above average stuff when given the chance. Even Kaitlyn is actually really good. When the reboot comes they should bring in the FCW guys and start better storylines.

So yeah, check it out, basically.

Oh, and Regal's an awesome commentator, he's probably worth checking out alone. And since it's rumored to be him and JR for the new show, that's what made me want to try to see what's going on before they start again, and i'll definitely watch with JR and Regal on the show.

Dusty is the new GM of NXT as well I hear. Saw some of their upcoming cards and they have Hero and Claudio on there. I'll be tuning in.

Fuck yeah, Dusty as GM. This show sounds awesome. Rollins and Richie Steamboat are going to be in a couple of matches too. Too bad Kaitlyn didn't get any love though. Hope that's 'cause she's moving to SD.

NXT might even become as good as ECW was during the Christian/Shelton/Regal era near the end.
