NXT wrestler works in manager role in SmackDown dark match

Imagine wasting him as a manager. The Adam Cole rumors more believable every day

Like, he has the mic skills to be a good mouth piece, but he's a capable wrestler! Why limit him to just being a manager? If they want Mace/Dio to get more exposure, then have LA Knight debut, pick up some wins, and announce he is "Guiding" Mace. That way LA Knight wrestles, they can also be a tag team which can add to their division while still breaking into the mid-card singles matches, and Mace learns with a veteran.

While I think it was a little cheesy, at least they’re doing something with Dio. And Knight is a phenomenal talker so he’ll do his best to get the character over.

I just think the presentation would’ve fit Robert Stone more than him.

That's who I was thinking of the whole time. Only problem with Stone is it feels like he's been around for years and I genuinely can't remember too much that he's done. There was the Chelsea and Aliyah stuff right at the start, then I don't remember anything else until this Von Wagner stuff.

Knight can talk and this is the better option for him on the main roster. Mace, however. Can't talk and needs a manager in LA Knight to cover that flaw.
