I was just about to say that shit. Too bad Al Snow isn't around anymore.

Tough Enough was far more interesting... I'm not too into mixing kayfabe with reality. Tough Enough was awesome because you knew it was all real people learning how to wrestle and you got to see some WWE superstars out of character mentoring them and then see them all interact in the house.

Hugh Morrus, Al Snow, Tazz, and Chavo were also great trainers. Tough Enough gave us John Morrison and Josh Matthews :)shifty:) so it wasn't a useless thing.

Yeah, ratings-wise I don't see WWE sticking with it for too long, however, I'm interested to see how the fact that this show gives WWE new stars makes WWE want to keep the show running.

I've only watched two episodes. It's just really strange. If they want to use these guys then do it. If not, release them.

Didn't we also get Miz from it I'm sure of it, coz I remember my brother wanted Mike Mizanin to win and then he became the Miz. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it will stick around for while and that while this time around obviously has some technical problems I have hope that the next time around it will be better because as it is it seems like they are making up the rules as they go on but ideally after one season they can make better use of the concept.

I also like it because it really is a good way to introduce the new wrestlers to the audience so that when they do start working of Raw or SD they have some ready made angles as well as some fan recognition.

I think having wrestlers on the show learning to become superstars shouldn't already have their own gimmicks. They show footage of all the rookies wrestling in FCW, they have their own gimmicks, and they get victories over WWE superstars. Why the FUCK do they need to prove themselves on this show? There is no difference between guys like Justin Gabriel and Yoshi Tatsu, when he debuted. Difference is Yoshi didn't have to go on a joke of a show like NXT.

These guys know how to wrestle, have roughly interesting gimmicks, and can beat WWE superstars. There shouldn't be an entire show trying to prove these guys belong when most of them look better than a percentage of the WWE roster as it is.

plus I'm sure they aren't giving it 100% since it's partly scripted

Now I fully agree with you, but if you listen to Cole and the Pros they keep trying to push that it doesn't matter where you wrestled before or how long you have been wrestling, if you haven't wrestled in the WWE then you're crap.

I like NXT but like the Tough Enough concept better, I have yet to actually see any of the Pro's give their rookies actual advice or training in the ring. I'm sure they're trying to push that "Oh during the week the pro's train them" but really that's not the point of the show.

It'd be interesting to see if they keep the show for longer than two seasons, WWE already has more people on the roster than they can do things with and I'm sure a majority of the "rookies" from NXT will stick around.

American Idol sort of. The finalist sell more albums than the winner. Except Kelly Clarkson maybe.
