This week’s episode was awesome, Finn and Cole was great and the main event rocked. I dug Dain and Priest, Grimes and Kushida, and Dunne and Banks as well.

I feel like Shayna has gotta be the one to dethrone Becky right since there is going to be literally nobody else left for her past the Rumble. If it does happen, I hope they don't bring her 2 goons up straight away.

Then again i've literally been wrong about everything Becky since she won at Mania so watch it be someone trash like Jax or something.

Could see Shayna winning the Rumble and going after the SD Champion.

But it should be Becky/Asuka at Mania with the story they’re telling. And I guess Becky gets her elusive win finally even tho I think her title reign has been trash.

I would be super down for them to stretch a program out with Asuka to Mania since it would be fire but I just don't see it happening. While I can't agree that it's been a trash title reign, it's definitely suffered the past month or two because of the build up to Survivor Series and not defending it there and for now whatever reason them deciding to put her in a tag-team feud leading upto TLC. Needs a good solid couple of months to solidify it for me though

I was actually going to watch NXT over AEW that week.

Still, it sounds fire. I'll have to watch it soon.

Yeah, NXT definitely came with the heat this week. Funny though that by the end of the show, Balor/Cole was completely wiped from my memory. Maybe it's because it was the first match, but it still feels like a bad sign. I honestly enjoyed Grimes/KUSHIDA and Dunne/Banks more than the NXT Championship match.

The main event was superb and a worthy ending to Shayna's reign of doom. I won't look back fondly on her as champion but at the same time I have to admit that her stranglehold on the belt has made her feel like one of the biggest things going in all of WWE this year, for better or worse. Now we're on to greener pastures from my perspective with Rhea as champ. She deserves this rub in a major way. Her presence and potential to be a megastar is undeniable. If you had a line up of all the women in WWE, I bet 9/10 people would point out Ripley as the most impressive looking of the bunch. As she showed once again tonight, she has the tools in the ring to back up her larger than life appearance so she should be well on her way to one hell of a career. Congrats to her and kudos to WWE on pulling the trigger.

I know one thing happening next week, not results or anything but it has me excited. I would actually watch NXT over AEW next week if AEW was on.

Keith Lee and Lio Rush join forces to battle Damian Priest & Tony Nese tonight

A big tag team battle has been confirmed for the Christmas night edition of NXT, as Keith Lee will team up with former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush to battle the duo of Damian Priest and Tony Nese.

Lee has been on a tear as of late, with breakout performances at NXT TakeOver: WarGames and Survivor Series, where he stood toe to toe with Roman Reigns. Rush will be looking to bounce back after losing his title to Angel Garza, and has found a great partner to do just that in The Limitless One.

But the duo standing across the ring from them are no slouches. Priest battled through a rib injury to defeat the monstrous Killian Dain on Dec. 18, while Nese is also a former Cruiserweight Champion himself.

Who will be victorious in this huge tag team throwdown? Find out during the Christmas night edition of NXT, tonight at 8/7 C on USA!
