As previously reported, Triple H recently tweeted that WWE is looking at taking WWE NXT on the road. HHH resurfaced on Twitter to point out that the company is working on taking NXT live events around the country, not the television tapings. WWE NXT television will only be taped at Full Sail University.

If they focus on small markets and small buildings that WWE doesn't normally run then I can see this working. The NXT tv show is really good to watch and they have enough talents on the roster to make it a worthwhile show to pay for and attend. They can always add a fringe main roster performer to the live events as well just to add a bit of star power to it. If they aim for buildings that hold less than 1k I think it can work and if they kept the cost down it would be worth attending.

If NXT was running a house show in your area would you pay to go see it?

I like the idea but this is WWE so I'm presuming they would want to take at the least break even but more than likely make a profit out of this; so there would be a stronger possibly while they have it as an NXT show, I can expect the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and the other's with some sort of name value outside of Cena to work some of these shows bolster up the ticket sales..

Hopefully it'll pay off, would hope they record on the road but I'm thankful it's an actual crowd these days at Full Sail and not that god-awful place FCW hosted all their stuff... But I think part of the reason OVW was so successful was because they did a lot work on the road with the talent, and actually wanted to turn over a profit.

Let's hope NXT is about to start doing the same, already taking better steps than TNA xD!

I can't see them pulling top names off the regular house show circuit to boost attendance at these shows. They don't really need massive names if they are only targeting 500-1000 fans at a show. The brand name of WWE and NXT should be enough to pull that many people, plus they do have some talented wrestlers down there. If they do send wrestlers down there it will be guys like 3MB or PTP.

If they add someone like a Regal, Booker T, Dusty Rhodes or some other legend on the road to make appearances and maybe act as GM for the house show it wouldn't be the worst idea.

I don't think someone like Punk making the odd appearance would really affect his work on the main roster too much and it would be a nice helping hand to the rookies.

Think they should have a couple of tester shows and then go forward with it full-time if they draw sell outs or near to from those.

I just don't see the need for a huge name like that, by all means use them for the tv tapings since the crowd there sits through four episodes being taped so it would be nice for a big name to appear there. If NXT was to go on the road I think that the draw is seeing the next generation of talent plus a few familiar faces that are working their way back to the main roster.

Seems like an indy fed with the WWE name attached to it, not a bad idea.

Hopefully go to Chicago and wherever else ROH run shows and put them out of business. Throwback to territory days.

How exactly would NXT putting RoH out of business help the whole territories coming back?

Technically RoH are global! National TV deal, they even go to Canada!!!

Naw, meant Vince going to other guys turf and driving them out.

I just want ROH to fold tbh, any way it happens is fine by me.

It really depends, I mean if the tickets were dirt cheap, and I mean like DIRT cheap, I'm talking like $10 a pop here, then yeah I'd go. Why not? But I can't see this as being a financially viable decision. Because no one in their right mind is going to pay the full price of a typical WWE ticket just to see NXT, that's just not going to happen, no matter how infrequently they come to town. NXT is probably better off being mass-produced out of a single arena with multiple tapings per day since it's not really a high-demand product. But I'll give it a chance to see how it does. I'm just not expecting a whole lot from it unless they plan on having regular WWE superstars make more appearances on the show to boost interest in the product.

Where I live, I would be happy with any show coming close to my town. But nXt could work on the road, would definitley help the talent get a feel of WWE life on the road and be able to weed out pretenders before it's too late. Give them different towns to show them not every crowd is the same and learn the fundamental skill of reading the audience.

Trips is a smart man, but if it costs more than it's worth, scrap that idea.

Don't see why they can't squeeze a couple of matches on each RAW & SmackDown house show.

$10-$15 tickets

And Superstars talent. No reason the Colons, 3MB, JTG, Alicia Fox, Natalya, Ryder, Sin Cara, and the like who do jack shit cannot work those shows

Because no one buys a raw ticket to see unknowns work before them against one another. Raw tours cost more than. SD.

I would pay 10-15 to see OhNo or Sami for 10 minutes.
