Quick note. According to Wikipedia, Warner Bros/Discovery still owns 12.5% of The CW.

Probably doesn't affect AEW rights deals but interesting nonetheless.

-The deal has been discussed for months, well before the rumors of NWA and CW started. This was a product they were not receiving rights fees for just five years ago, and have increased revenue by millions for something they were already producing

-The deal was particularly appealing for WWE because they get a significant rights fee increase and now they're on a basic network that widens a possible audience base.

-SRS doesn’t know the exact number but WWE sources see it as a “200% increase”

-The plan is for NXT to remain on Tuesdays and the on screen product will remain the same​

I’ve seen some of their stuff. Not too shabby. Also has a weekly show on YouTube, but hilarious if they’re even lapping NWA.
