This shows why having multiple mainstream options are so good for the boys and it doesn’t just go one way. It’s not just so disgruntled WWE guys can find good work in AEW, but it can go the other way, too. A low card guy in AEW can go to NXT and become champion. Different bookers value different aspects of performers.

I'm wondering if Josh Alexander Crossed the Line and enters the Prohibited Portal, showing up on NXT.

Watching this finish again and you can see just how well planned and executed it was. It also protects trick quite a bit who not only doesn’t get beat. He’s the one that actually knocks Ethan out falls on the other guy who had gotten his finish coming the other way, so he’s actually been both of them until spears, foolishly grabs his foot stopped him from kicking the finish off.

I'm wondering if Josh Alexander Crossed the Line and enters the Prohibited Portal, showing up on NXT.

That would also be dope. I kind of hope he does. Alexander could have some real throw downs in the performance center. I was kind of hoping they would do some thing with Ethan and Alexander when Alexander won the TNA title because I think they were doing the AEW thing or it just ended but either way now that Ethan is the champion that would make a great surprise intro from Alexander to show up.

The storyline was that if Wes lost he wasn't getting another NXT NA title shot. He wanted Wes to turn heel and challenge Trick at GAB. I'm thinking he just challenges Ego, but at this point he could also move up to Raw or SD. I'm thinking whatever he does the first thing will be him helping out his Rascalz buddies in TNA (or they come to him not sure which direction). Maybe a 6 man at GAB and then he moves on to NXT Title picture or even Raw/SD.

He lost tonight in failed to get back the title, so I had hopes he was going to just move on and win the NXT Championship. But I doubt it’s anytime soon now. I’m just kinda bummed about it. I’ll get over it
