I looked it up and it was Booker who competed in a Best of Seven series against Benoit for the vacant WWE US title and got injured and had Randy Orton compete on his behalf, Orton won the final match and Booker became champion.

Vaquer debuted with WWE in July (on TV in October). Won the NA Title in February.
