Priest makes the most likely sense unless they wanna jump Kross up there already since that may have been the original timeline if he never got injured since he'd have been champ for a good few months now.

On WOR, Meltzer says that Damian Priest was due to debut on Smackdown last week as Kevin Owens' new friend, leading to Owens and Priest v Reigns and Uso on the show, but Kevin thought that there was no logic behind being best friends with Damien Priest out of nowhere when they have no history and nothing in common. Roman agreed, and the angle was dropped. Apparently Priest was in the building and ready to go.
Sucks for Priest but I can totally understand the reasons of Owens/Reigns supposedly not being in favour of it given it no made sense at all.

Love it when WWE tries to insinuate that because wrestlers were in ROH at totally different times they’re best friends. Not as bad as the time TNA had Scott Steiner be Christian Cage’s consultant/expert for his match against Kurt Angle but yeah it’s dumb.

It shouldn't be on KO and Roman to tell the writers that that idea made no fucking sense. :lol

Tbf I think wrestlers should speak up more if WWE will listen bc they would know what they're characters would or wouldn't do better than the writers can keep up with all the characters. AEW's continuity benefits from wrestler's knowing they're own characters so much and I feel like that's been a big issue with WWE for idk 10-15 years now :lol

So it was Bryan's fault that Priest was gonna be thrown in an angle that made no sense? :souness~1:

Told yall Bryan was doing creative.....so he should be blamed personally for everything that sucks......like we did for Road Dogg and Bruce Prichard.....then act like they offer nothing to the business and we're overrated to begin with. :neckbeards:
