A Young man whose name has not been revealed by anyone ever. Decided to take the risk of his life and accoplishes his life long dream of owning a wrestling company. So He took the money his mother and Father left him and then bought the rights to the name National Wrestling Federation or better known as NWF. He then started contacting some of his pro friends who where not signed by any of the other companies or touring Japan. The young man then bought out a ring and started training young wrestlers with the help of his friends. The young owner of NWF and the young wrestlers then put on the first NWF show and Chris Sabin won the first ever NWF title match and then the company show was attended by 20 people making the young wrestlers a total of 20 dollars each as the ten wrestlers wrestled well.
Two of the young wrestlers by the names of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley of the NWF where then taken up by a TNA scout and they headed to TNA to perform. By this time NWF had a total of 13 wrestlers and the shows where running well. This continued till really late in the year. The fanbase of NWF had grown to over the 200 mark and they where well supported till WWE bought out half the wrestlers of NWF to compete in OVW and the young owner of NWF had to cancel all shows until the middle of 2004.
First show back for NWF and the fans for the show was 300 and the tuern out was quite good for only 12 wrestler participating in the whole show and then Colt Cabana won the NWF title at the second show back and reigned with the title throughout 2004 thwarting challenges from the likes of Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Also in this year, Matt Hardy was bought to NWF.
An exciting Year for NWF as ROH was bought out by WWE and most of the wrestlers where immediately released by WWE. TNA was able to pick up some of the released wrestlers and in process releasing Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley to free up some space on the roster. NWF then signed some former ROH stars to fill up some of their Roster Space.
After running smoothly for the past two years NWF hits bump in the road when there current champ Colt Cabana is signed into a WWE develomental contract and is forced to vacate the NWF title and also in this half of the year a new booker and GM by the name of Brandon Gardner was signed by the mysterious owner of NWF. NWF then signed a deal with My TV network to a late show on Sunday night called Sunday night Thunder. NWF now was fully fledged and here is the current roster on of NWF.
