I think it was getting over in Japan but idk really since I've only seen pieces. Like the Super J Cups were major success and they were mid 90s, but Ace was also mostly in AJPW and they had like no junior division, and I don't even know if NJPW pushed them properly after the J Cups until 2000s so idk
