Why did I have to dredge through 31 pages to get here? When you mention someone in a chatroom they are not in, they won't see the message. You may need to fix that.

If it didn’t take you to this post all you had to do was search @Grimus in the search bar with this thread clicked.

Edit: I tested it and all three of these posts pop up immediately. I'll do what I can for the mentions, but doubt I can fix that.

You have to click where it says "chat message" not on the name of the room in the notification and then it will take you straight to the chat message by itself. I tested this the other day

And you don't have to be in the room?

Oh well that I didn't test but it takes you to the message iso'd by itself in a separate link with the option to go to the chat for context if you need it. I didn't realize the "chat message" part of the notification was clickable until Dale said something about it lmao

Should auto join you in the room if you click the name, take you to the message if you click chat message

Thanks. I can confirm that you do not need to be the room to view the message.

It just needs to be more intuitive to click that part of the notifications I wish it was bold or something

Nah, didn't make me join the room either. If you just click chat message, it just takes me to the message by itself in an isolated page.

I assume that's what Grim wanted as he seemed like he didn't want to join the room to see the message.

just click that underlined chat message link.

It takes you right to the tag in a separate page ^ and you do not need to be in the room for this to work.
