Oh, it should definitely return. I had been defending this even before the awesome Cesaro win, they always have a match to put midcarders in just so they can be there, so why not make it official? And if things go like this one I'm even more for it, I marked so hard. When I noticed Cesaro I didn't even know why he was there, thought he was just filling up for someone else or whatever, but in the end, just great. He slammed the damn giant and had an awesome WM moment, Show put him over like a champ (I'm all for Show being around if he's gonna put young guys over like this), so if the BR always spotlights young talents like this, great. Do it. If it signals pushes, even better.

Seems like the poor mans KOTR, as long as it means a big push for guys who deserve it like Cesaro then I'm all for more.

I thought it came across surprisingly well, made for a nice time-filler. Would welcome stuff like that every year since they'll be there anyway

EDIT: misread the title as the Divas' match, ignore this

I don't know. I'm not still a huge fan of 20 jobbers in the ring with ten possible winners.

yea I would prefer 20 next year, possibly with qualifier matches for the spots.

I agree with the qualifier matches aspect that could be introduced, the only issue I guess would be how many qualifier matches would we have? Even 20 participants would require a lot of qualifying matches. Maybe the final five spots or something along those lines?

My answer to the thread question is YAY! The reason being that the WWE could use this match as a method of elevating those who deserve a push, i.e Cesaro. I have no issues with this match becoming an annual event at WM.

Should definitely redo it, with a few tweaks such as less people and a few qualifying matches on say RAW, ME and SD leading up it could be a great idea.

I showed WWE to my 4 year old bro the other day and he enjoys the heels and surprisingly doesn't like Cena.

On topic, I wouldn't mind this being a yearly thing as long as there was a purpose for it.

Well I might be remembering it wrong, but I believe on Monday Hogan said it's gonna be an annual thing.

I liked it, but I'd much rather see the Gimmick Battle Royal myself :> even though it would've probably only been for WM 30 as per the 30th WM thing. For next years, participants should be reduced, match should last around the same amount of time.

I recall that, too. It's now being called the "First Annual", so apparently it's here to stay for a while.

I'm confused how they plan on that considering the trophy's destroyed. A new one will probably be made, but my lord it serves no purpose to just break a small part of it like that.

it's not like Cesaro would have given his trophy back. the winner next year would get their own trophy either way.

Not sure if that's the case, cause they had some promos where they mentioned the trophy would switch hands, which is probably meant literally hence the switching of the trophy from the old winner to the new winner. Not sure though.
