Punk has always been sloppy. He's very technically talented but he has always tended to rush through moves and do things unproper. That's nothing new with Punk.

Him being so injured is also a factor.

I guess his backyard wrestling still shines through.

ANyone else think his promo work has been dog shit lately as well? The opener with the Shield this week for instance he is stumbling all over himself to try and get out what he is saying.

He is a great wrestler... One of the best... When and only when, he is not being lazy. Aside from a few PPV matches, the past year I have seen nothing special from him.

When you're working so many dates it's very difficult to do something so special bar a few PPV matches, the company has invested a lot in him for him to risk it all on a big spot and he doesn't have to work out of his skin to get noticed any more. Bryan is slowing down, Cena has a similar issue, Orton is is the same. All top guys are in the E.

Dog shit is an over statement IMO it wasn't his best work but he showed natural confidence and crowd control even with his screw ups. That's Punk's entire style he's so unpolished he just feels real.

It is not "slowing down" that bothers me.. Cena, Orton, D-bry... I never see them look lazy in the ring. There is a difference between slowing down and clearly not trying as hard.

It's hard to blame guys like Orton and Punk for not being motivated. Once you break through that glass ceiling you're in, brother. You're in zero danger of losing your spot even if these guys they shit in all the Divas' bags.

Thing is with Punk he's had a bunch of fantastic matches this year, more so than anyone else in this company. In the right context (this one) that's easy to overlook since his moveset is so poor.
