Yeah, the apostrophe was the bug. my theory is cause there was no letter after it just a space.

So, this issue occurs only for users with spaces and/or apostrophes in their usernames?

Could you post your whole previous username so I can run a few tests and try find the cause of this? It's likely a problem in the alerts system core that nobody's yet reported and that I should get fixed.

I think it's just apostrophes afaik.
