I don't like any of this. If you think he's town lying about an additional role you wouldn't want to lynch him before he's had a shot to speak.I didn't say we don't let him explain, but if he has an active role and just claimed a passive role then we have to lynch him because it's more likely he's just scum. we can't let people lie about their role and then get away with it if they're caught as it makes things easier for scum. if you're going to lie as town you make sure you don't get caught,
And you've already marred town reception of his answer by giving away way too much explanation he could have given if that was the case.
If I had a decent role and had to claim early, and had a secondary role, I can't say I'd be against hiding something if it helps town.
You say let him explain, but then say if he has an active role, lynch him anyway. Makes no sense.
And what difference does getting caught make? You expecting a townie to have roles that hide movement?
