There is currently a lot of heat on Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. Creative scripted for Shelley and Sabin to "juice/bleed" in the PPV match against Team 3D and Johnny Devine. Most didn't see this as an issue as it was a high-profile match; they were going over and Team 3D was losing in what was considered one of their signature matches. Chris Sabin refused and Alex Shelley tends to go along with whatever Sabin does, so he refused as well. That is why the match was re-worked to take them out halfway through and put the focus on Jay Lethal. The feeling as of now is that any plans of the team getting a tag title run have been ended, due to the fact that management doesn't feel that they can book them in any "grudge match style programs."

Damn that really sucks. I was looking forward to seeing a tag title run with the Guns, but I guess that isnt happening anymore. Oh well, maybe they'll give LAX a chance now

I was going to see it's their choice really, they may have some issues with bleeding and to stop their push seems a bit unfair BUT thats wrestling for you!!! Brooke Adams was fired from WWE for wearing the same boots as melina!!

Typical TNA, MCMG are the best team they got and now they don't want to use them. Idiots.

Well if they don't want to make sacrifices for the company, why should TNA give a push to a team that doesn't really care?

In the WWE you would get buried or fired for pulling shit like this.

I know it may be taking it a bit far for just doing something that seems minor but if you were in TNA and you employ somebody to do someting and they don't do it how you want them to, wouldn't you be the same? Just for that I agree with why TNA did it but I still think it's a waste of talent if they don't get pushed.

It doesn't mean that they don't care! They were put in a situation in which they weren't comfotable for whatever reasons so they stood up for themselves. I think wrestlers should be allowed to stand up for themselves without facing consequences for it!

Sorry about my little rant!

Boss: Do this report and you are in line for a promotion
Employee: No
Boss: I'm giving the promotion to someone else.

Wrestling is a business. If those two assclowns cared about their spot they would do every and anything to secure it.

Millions of people don't like something that goes on a work everyday. If you are going to stand up for yourself you had also better be able to handle the consequences.

I know we will get some tree hugger saying workers have rights and the best way to get ahead is to speak your mind. To that I say bullshit. If you want to get ahead you speak when spoken to, kiss ass, and do whatever the boss wants. Then after years of paying your dues, you will get your dream promotion and people will be kissing your ass.

The wrestling business is like life. You pay your dues, keep your mouth shut and do as your told and you will eventually be in a position to stand up for yourself and speak your mind.

I was listening to an interview with HHH on my local radio station the other day. He said the biggest problem in the wrestling business right now is the young guys thinking a spot should just be handed to them. They won't put in the extra work, they won't listen, and they aren't willing to learn or get any better.

HHH went on to tell a story about a time when him and HBK were watching a match backstage between two of the younger guys who thought they were good enough to book the match on the fly. Flair walks by, watches the moniter for a few seconds and tells HHH, "This is the reason I still have a job and always will."

Bottomline, Sabin and Shelley deserve to be punished. They took a gamble and they lost. If they wanted a guaranteed spot, they should learn that nothing is guaranteed and spots are earned through hard work, dedication, and sacrifice.

Everything you said is correct and I agree with you but different people have different morals. Only Shelley and Sabin know their reasons for not bleeding and TNA should respect their morals for making that decision.

I can respect the fact that they stood up for their beliefs. If they care about their beleifs more than their job, more power to them. They are better men than I'll ever be.

However, you also can't expect a corporation to let their employees call the shots. Saben and Shelley refused to do what TNA thought was best for business. You can bet that next time their is a spot for a push that neither Shelley nor Sabin will be given the benefit of the doubt.

I agree 100 percent for the guns stickin' up for them selves...Maybe they can be the first step in giving Wrestlers more right...Why should a wrestler have to cut themselves to make it to the top...Its not right at all...You don't always need blood to make someone look messed up...If TNA wanted 3d to look strong put there ass's through a stack of tables...You don't have to make them bleed if it goes against there beliefs...

They are one great tag team though and therefore TNA shouldn't bury them for standing up fot their principles.

Considering the profession Sabin chose... what was he thinking, that he'd spearhead the elimination of cutting from professional wrestling altogether? Why did he even become a professional wrestler if he wasn't okay with cutting his forehead a bit?
