NoDQ.com > TNA > News on TNA crew losing faith in Hogan/Bischoff
Posted by Mark Virginia on 05/18/2010 at 08:39 AM

The TNA crew have only recently lost faith in the Hogan/Bischoff regime. According to Bryan Alvarez, the reason for this is that most of them were expecting TNA to be more like the 1995 WCW and not the 2000 WCW.

Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, which replaced the Monday Imapct last week, did an 0.44 rating. While that is lower than what Impact was doing, it also didn't cost Spike TV a lot of money to produce and air.

It took them this long to "begin" losing faith in Bischoff/Hogan?

I completely and unequivocally agree. Hogan and Bischoff may not be good for TNA, but Vince Russo is a thousand times worse. I can't decide whether to laugh or cry that they so easily remain blind to the obvious.

Wait, so TNA management didnt even want to be a new product or something never seen before...they were expecting to be WCW circa 1995. That's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

WCW in 1995 was god awful.
Good lord, I witnessed:
About 7 Hogan-Flair matches, with Ric being the giant bitch in each and every one.

Hogan and Vader, with Vader refusing to job and Hogan no selling so Vader no sold too. Ugly matches.

Hogan and his epic feud with the Dungeon of Doom that included a rouges gallery of : The Zodiac, who would later become The Butcher, The Shark-Earthquake after he changed his name from Avalanche, The Barbarian and Meng and Kevin Sullivan. And then the Giant which leads to...

Hogan knocking the Giant off the top of an arena after a monster truck sumo match. Then the Giant came back like 30 minutes later to wrestle Hogan for the world title. Then the Yeti came out and Hogan was in the gayest single looking thing in wrestling history, a double bear hug.

Talent like Vader, Dustin Rhodes and Steve Austin getting canned so guys like Jim Duggan, Earthquake and Ed Leslie could have jobs.

Well, at least TNA DID capture some of 1995 WCW. They lost Daniels, Kong and Cheerleader Melissa and got Shannon Moore, Scott Hall and Bubba the Lovesponge.

LOL.... I watched the tower of doom match recently for comedic purposes (The one the was kinda like a rip off of Bruce Lee's Game Of Death).

'Amazing' stuff!!!

Well according to the new law, since Star Wars got a low rating it sucks.

*buzzer*

WRONG~!

There is no "new law", in reality, I use the rating as an example for TNA's faults because it is PROOF that the bullshit (rings, lockboxes, stupid heel turns, 90 year old men beating up young guys, etc...) is NOT what the fans want to see, thus, the rating comes in the next morning and it sucks.

A new law? Nah, I call it fact.

Well no people say it sucks and always say look at the ratings low rated shows suck. Now I don't agree with that but hey its what people say. Now me I don't care about Star Wars tbh but high ratings low ratings it sucks to me.

Anyway this I liked about maybe 1 or 2 things Hogan has done and tbh I forget what they are.

I wasn't aware that what you say goes.

I said what I said because there are people who base how good a show is just over the ratings. Some don't even watch the show at all and see that the show got 1.0 and says it sucks. They know nothing that happened, no spoilers, no reports, nothing. Just off the rating. I used that logic against them since Star Wars got a .4 then that means it sucks. And that my friend, is a fact.

Where's the proof Hogan is doing all this plz.

Dude, it's Hogan we're talking about. Anything with Hogan's name attached to it no matter what he'll get blamed.
