A few weeks ago, we saw an article about how Batista was unhappy about how he wasn't a main eventer, or some bs. Then we fast forward to Cyber Sunday, and they put the title on him. Great work right there WWE.

Serious, I hate Batista. He's lazy in the ring, and doesn't deserve anything that he's got. But the fact that WWE reward him after crying is amazingly stupid. What kind of a message is WWE sending to the young guys in the back. "Hey Kenny, if you go out and cry, you get whatever you want~!" This is beyond stupid. I hope the ratings drop, and WWE realise that Batista sucks. Then maybe they will stop, and think about what they've done.

Um... for one, how do YOU know he was crying? Seriously, when rumors are released on some guys, many of you cry foul, proclaiming BS. However, when a rumor is released regarding someone you dislike, you immediately believe. Many internet reports being released nowadays are false.

Regarding Big Dave, I'm glad he's Champ. I like Jericho, but damn, his reign was boring as fuck. He was a coward, and I HATE, with a passion, cowardly heels. They could've made him a fighting Heel Champ, but no, a damn coward. I already had enough of cowardly Edge as Champion, and then they had Jericho go the same route. Brilliant...

You guys can call Big Dave a roided freak, a boring character, an undeserving guy, lazy in the ring, and so forth all you want, but complaining isn't going to help. I learned that when Edge became Champion, and even before that. Batista being Champ = more incentive for me to watch RAW. Me and WS seriously need to start a tandem. Batista FTW!

Imo the reason they put the belt on Batista is not because of his whining but so he can have that big money match at Wrestlemania versus Orton or Cena. Otherwise, I think he will be an entertaining champ.

Im sorta still undecided on the whole scenario, with Dave being champ again...

I dont really care that much about 'Batista crying backstage about his status' etc, I dont care if it's true, and I'm not really worried if WWE gave him the belt to stop that. It's not saying much for WWE if thats the case tho.

I dont really want to see Batista as champion again, I was quite happy with Jericho's reign as champion. He was fresh, a nice change from our recent champions - coming out of his big fued with HBK was the momentum he needed, and I think a win here (preferrably cleanish) would've really propelled him to being a REAL champion.

I think it was too early to change the title holder, as now they need to find another opponent for Batista?

-JBL; are you shitting me!? They've been fueding lately and Tista owned him,
-HBK; they fued seems to be over, and when their fued ended Tista came out on top anyway,
-Cena's hurt, and won't be back for a litle longer, plus this match should be saved for a bigger time
-Orton, same as Cena. Orton SHOULD get caught up with Punk first,

So yeh, I think this was just a bad move on behlaf of 'creative' from WWE. Batista should've atleast chased for another PPV...

Raw needed someone with big draw to have the title. So they can use him in a bigger feud for WM. Batista, Cena, Orton, or even Punk have bigger draw than Jerricho.

Jericho's reign started to get pretty stale. IMO it was an ok move to put the title on Batista even though I think he sucks.

Jericho has already had feuds with Cm Punk, HBK, and Batista. Who else could he feud with that would be a big draw? Not Mysterio nor Kane.

You gotta remember, this is WWE we're talking about. Batista is like John Cena. He appeals to many age groups and brings in more money. Jericho as a heel wasn't doing that. I'm pretty sure he'll lose the title when Cena or Orton returns anyway.

Hopefully JBL isn't the next contender for Dave's title.

That was a TNA Grade Main Event. Run-ins with no reason (JBL, wtf?) and THREE Special Referees.

I hate this move. Raw needed a real champion, but Batista, ugh. I agree, at least ONE more PPV. The guy is awful, definitely should not be World Champion on Raw. The good thing is, we all know he will drop the belt to Cena come 'Mania time. But until then, Raw will probably not be on my TV for a while, at least when he comes on.

Batista becoming the World Champion was a completely stupid move by the creative team at Cyber Sunday. He uses steroids, he has a limited move-set, is injury prone and is totally slow. Who wants the World Champion to be that? I don't have any doubt now, he was made a Superstar based off his physique, and his friend "Triple H". Nothing else other than that, and today he gets the World Championship based on the same reasons! I don't see a point in making Batista the World Champion when there are much more talented guys available on the roster. His promos are all the same and he has limited mic skills which makes this even worse, because he is supposed to be "World Champion" who has to be entertaining, which Batista isn't

He's never been good. And he obviously isn't any better now as Champion! :moon:

Whether you like him or not, he's champ and we have to live with it. I'm not a Batista fan at all but he is a big draw. Why? I have no idea. He puts me to sleep whenever he is on but a lot of other people seem to mark for him. It's pretty sad because others have the potential to be great champs yet they hand it off to one of the most boring wrestlers ever.

Let's see-instead of having a world champion that generates extreme heat from the crowd, is agile and can have a good match with anybody let's put the title on a slow, muscle bound, injury prone crybaby who has the mobility of a tree and has been given more title shots than he deserves. I have mixed feelings about Batista winning the title.

Now I'm no HUGE fan of Batista but I can't say I dislike the guy and I think he is a decent choice for champ. Now I have no actual problem with Batista as champ but what I don't get is why they took the title off Y2J so soon. His title reign wasn't exactly the greatest but I have seen far worse title reigns before and I think WWE could've at least given it another month before making Y2J let go of the title.

As for Batista's whining and w/e, I don't think that changed WWE's decisions in any way regarding the title match. Maybe they changed a few things on Raw to benefit him and keep him happy but I don't think they would've ended a title reign early and given the title to Batista just to keep him happy, well at least I wouldn't.

I am lost at why WWE took the title off Y2J too early but I still don't think it was because of anything Batista said or done but I still think there must've been some reasoning or WWE just made a cock-up.

One thing is to say you don't like how he wrestles, but he's not untalented. Hell, he does faily well for a big man. He'll never wrestle the same as a Y2J or a HBK, but because he doesn't need to.


Oh, and yeah, Y2J's reign was good...but he isn't a draw. Y2J will not main event Wrestlemania and sell it, and that's way it's best to take the belt off from him right now, so we start building for Cena vs Batista

I'm thinking it's way too early to bitch and to judge about title reigns. Remember, there's been tons of times when we were wrong about certain champions, if we hated them or loved them. (CM Punk, Randy Orton) Who knows, this could actually be a good run for Batista. There's plenty of heels for him to feud with, and having the belt doesn't really mean anything if he's not in any decent feuds or storylines. He still has Jericho to feud with, and they could revive what they had at Backlash by adding HBK in the mix. We have Orton who everyone is dying to see, and whenever Cena comes back (not implying anything here), they could revive that feud too.

I'm shocked that Vinnie Mac ended Chris Jericho's World Title reign this fast. It was starting to get hot, Jericho was drawing Vickie Guerrero like heat. You guys should have seen the marks in the chat room for the Cyber Sunday stream that I was watching, they were all like "OMG Jericho sux hes short hair is stupid and hes mean!!". Maybe those kinds of fans hate every heel, but I'm just trying to put over the fact that Jericho was a phenomenal heel. He got people to really hate him, and the decision to just abruptly take away all of his momentum just to put the title back on BATISTA of all people makes absolutely no sense at all. I was already starting to get sick of the WWE product, and this definitely isn't helping.
