For what, winning the Rumble? No.

Only dumb fucks are mad about Jey winning.

I don't mind Jey winning at all, but just like pretty much anything regarding the Bloodline by now, it feels like it is too late. Like... since Cody's loss to Roman at Mania 39 it feels like everything got more and more delayed and protracted. Jey peaked through '23 and early '24 for example and I don't think I have to mention, that Cody's loss still is one of the biggest booking misses in recent history.

Cody losing at 39 ended up making him a bigger star in the long run honestly

I don't think that's necessarily bc he lost tho tbh, it's more like the climate of the 2nd match for the company as a whole was just so much better that Cody winning then was a way better moment than if he would have won the year before.

Like, IMO the best timeline isn't Cody losing the first year but winning a different grudge match or something, I still don't think he should have challenged Roman if he didn't win.

It all worked out in the end ither way tho so just hypotheticals either way really

plus they were trying to make cody not even in the roman match. I do agree him losing and then winning was a great story but they weren't even going to do that it seems :lol

Yeah no amount of Rocky trying to rewrite history because he couldn't handle getting the fuck booed out of him when he tried being the hero can change the fact Rock tried to legit fuck over Cody.
