i think njpw more the kind of company that care about the matches happening, i dont think they care much about "her first match outside of wwe" but mb they do

Plus, then and AEW have a relationship. Doubt they’d nix an arrangement there. That would spur things for both AEW and Mercedes.

I think the bigger travesty was it not being billed higher on the card, especially with Mercedes debuting. Wasn't it like 3rd Match main card?

Second even I think. Plus, the match was only 5 minutes.

I’m perfectly happy with the Mercedes debut. That was the bigger draw for me, but they definitely could have given the match a bit more.

Sasha being on AEW tv only hypes her PPV more especially considering her match debut is for their us branch.

Yeah, I was surprised how early it was. The other thing I’m thinking is the wanted it early since women in the dome is a new concept and they didn’t want it to be on later in case it fell flat.

BTW the Junior tags opened and that was really good too. First time seeing the Akira kid and his tag team with TJP. Solid team chemistry and they have some great team moves. I’m a fan already.
