Main Event: LOS INGOBERNABLES DE JAPON (Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi) vs TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls)
The main event for the night will see Tetsuya Naito and Hiromu Takahashi square up against former champions Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls. Both TMDK members experienced a rough couple of weeks, not only losing their IWGP belts but the STRONG Openweight Tag Team as well. It is now time for them to get back on track and secure their first ever tag tournament win.
It won’t be an easy task, with the former IWGP World Heavyweight and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions on the other side of the ring. To the surprise to everyone, Hiromu Takahashi, who had dipped his toes inside heavyweight territory against HENARE in singles competition earlier this year, was Naito’s pick for his WTL return. This might be a great opportunity for a fresh cross weight class tag team to make a huge first impression against former champs.
7th Match B Block: Oleg Boltin & Toru Yano vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (Ren Narita & EVIL)
An unorthodox team of brawns and brain, Oleg Boltin and Toru Yano might be one of the most unique combinations for this year’s World Tag League. What looks like an odd pairing on paper, might work out surprisingly well, as Yano with his decorated Greco-Roman background matches the style of his monstrous partner Boltin Oleg, while also offering unpredictable tactics. Speaking of unpredictable tactics, the HOUSE OF TORTURE members are also no stranger to using their environment to their advantage and bending the rules in order to win.
While the outcome is not set in stone yet, we know for sure that the referee will have a busy semi main event ahead of him.
6th Match B Block: Just 4 Guys (TAKA Michinoku & Taichi) vs United Empire (Great-O-Khan & HENARE)
After SANADA’s betrayal at Power Struggle, Just 4 Guys and especially Taichi, have felt the sting and now aim to regain ground in the World Tag League. They face the IWGP Tag Team Champions, HENARE and Great-O-Khan of United Empire, who seek to assert their dominance on the tag division in their fourth Tag League together. This battle will be a test of Just 4 Guys’ resilience and a statement for United Empire’s dominance.
5th Match B Block: Jado & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs The Natural Classics (Tome & Stevie Filip)
Veterans Jado and Hiroshi Tanahashi, with a combined experience of over 60 years, face The Natural Clasics — Tome and Stevie Filip. After making waves in the Australian wrestling scene for years, the Filips caught the eye of Bad Luck Fale, who recruited them into his Rogue Army. Now they’re determined to prove themselves to the Japanese audience, but will their youthful ambition be enough against seasoned legends?
4th Match: Tiger Mask, Tomoaki Honma & Shota Umino vs TMDK (Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & ZSJ)
With their title match set for Wrestle Kingdom 19, Shota Umino engages in another Tokyo Dome preview with Zack Sabre Jr. Alongside Tomoaki Honma and Tiger Mask, Umino faces TMDK’s Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa, and the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. With young talents like Fujita and Oiwa eager to make a mark, TMDK is a force that Umino and his well experienced partners must be prepared to overcome.
3rd Match: Shoma Kato, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto vs Los Ingobernables De Japon (BUSHI, Yota Tsuji & Shingo Takagi)
The veteran team of Bishamon, joined by young lion Shoma Kato, faces Los Ingobernables De Japon’s BUSHI, Yota Tsuji, and Shingo Takagi. This match serves as a prelude to the main event showdown in Fujisawa Saturday, as both teams strive to build confidence heading into their next encounter.
2nd Match: BC War Dogs (Gedo, SANADA & Gabe Kidd) vs BULLET CLUB (Taiji Ishimori, Chase Owens & KENTA)
SANADA, aligns with BC War Dogs in an intra BULLET CLUB clash against Ishimori, Owens, and KENTA. Faction derbies are always hard to predict and this prelude will be just the same.
1st Match: Katsuya Murashima, Alex Zayne & Ryusuke Taguchi vs United Empire (Jakob Austin Young, Callum Newman & Jeff Cobb)
In the first bout of the night, young lion Katsuya Murashima and Alex Zayne team up with Zayne’s WTL partner Ryusuke Taguchi against United Empire’s Jakob Austin Young, Callum Newman, and Jeff Cobb. The chemistry of this relatively untested team will be put to the test against the established United Empire trio.
Kickoff match: Masatora Yasuda (0–1 this tour) vs Daiki Nagai
Singles record: 0–0–18
Masatora Yasuda will open the second night’s event, this time squaring off against Daiki Nagai. With the young lions engaging in an unofficial round robin, facing a different opponent every night, which up and coming wrestler will come out on top?
