I imagine it's a large minority but still a minority that genuinely just likes seeing the variety we have in wrestling these days. I still rarely care for full death match shows but having one on a card is great to me. Same with lucha centric matches, I never watch CMLL or AAA but having a little of that flavor on a card with other stuff on it is always fun for me even if it's not my preferred style. It's so cool to me how many different genres wrestling has at this point

it's why dynamite is usually my favorite show, usually has a bunch of everything (the good episodes do). I also cant do a full deathmatch show or lucha show, it's too much of the same. I like variety

Yeah, I wasn’t aware of the added context. I was mostly just replying to the original post Jeff made, which is why I mentioned being a casual. I was just saying like I’m not overly mad about the spot or anything and I haven’t mentioned it until this thread, but I was just saying, I would personally prefer not to see it again lol.

The Strong brand itself might have my favorite balance of all the styles too, a bit by necessities bc they've always been limited by who they can book, but they book them to their strengths

But like it or not, I think it's a huge achievement on a personal level that Mox and Despy even got NJPW to okay it. I suspect that's partially why they did the Strong branding too so its still slightly seprated from NJPW proper, since the America shows have had more hardcore things in the past
For sure. They were probably quite excited to do something different for their product.

Probably is why it was used on Strong branding.

yeah but also you don't actually get mad at anything Mox does, you just simply dislike him. Which is fine, not an issue. You're not pretending to be outraged by anything he does either or say lolmoxbleed every time you see him on screen. I don't think anyone that's normal has an issue with your dislike of mox, and its just a thing we poke fun at each other with

I will say I can do without most every fork spot. I know it's more of a homicide tribute than anything but they never look as cool to me as they're meant to lmao

The current narrative is they act like Moxley is down bad bc he's having to resort to these things when the truth is both he and Despy are just sick fucks who have enough money they'd never have to do death matches but they like them again so they've never been happier lmao

I’d even say it’s an Abdullah reference when Homicide did it and honestly with his history, may be best to retire it. :slip:

Yeah, it’s a silly narrative for the simple fact that almost no one else in AEW bleeds like he does on a consistent basis. It’s quite clear that Mox is using his position in the company to do what he wants to do. Nobody is forcing him to do anything.
