I forgot during the New Japan Cup and G1 Climax Tours they try to put us to sleep with these Multi Man Tag Matches that are often lifeless and are way too short to me.

Newman could be a really good talent for New Japan if he keeps progressing as a talent. I've already said multiple times Gabe Kidd could be World Champion in his own right because of how good he's gotten the last 6 Months the way he's handed himself.

Will New Japan be smart enough to push him and keep him in house long term we will see. My faith in them to push the Next Generation has failed so far really hope that changes as we get deeper in 2024 and onward.

Now if only the rest of Bullet Club and House of Torture would put in work like Chase did vs Ishii every Match they were in. Chase in no Universe should beat Ishii but it's hard to complain but he'll lose to Goto and get a Tag Title shot out of it like New Japan loves to do.

To the surprise of no one Finlay beats TJP as he continues to stink up the joint. Not gonna lie it was a good Main Event.

Man New Japan has been really sticking it United Empire during this Tour for real. They lose to BC, and TJP loses to Finlay, and now here comes another loss more than likely in this Tag Match with LIJ.

Hikuleo and Oleg are proving that just because you are a big or strong guy it doesn't mean you know what you are doing in there. Neither should of been involved in this New Japan Cup tourney.

Newman is clearly ahead of schedule in terms of abilities for sure after going 20 Minutes with Gabe Kidd. Take pointers Hikuleo and Oleg.

Uemura had the Match of his life because Shingo brought that out of him. Easily the Best Match of Day 2 of the New Japan Cup and you could debate it being the best of the Matches from the Tourney so far.
