He was injured on August 9th but I think you guys forget where he was before the injury maybe it's due to I watch all the New Japan Shows and not just the big ones. Uemura was right behind Tsuji and Shota maybe neck to neck with those guys to look like Stardom was coming for him in 2024 before that injury. He was in a feud with Tsuji and the fans were behind him just as much. My comment was towards New Japan not knowing what they want as a Champion right now and who to push. Sabre JR was World Champion and he loses to Goto who I highly respect he shouldn't be holding any World Titles in their Company imo. Sabre JR should of kept the NJPW World Title till one of these young guns are ready. Chase Owens beat Tanahashi and nothing came from it so I say I have no faith in what New Japan it's all the bs they have done even before Okada and Ospreay left for AEW. I hope they right the wrongs of the past one of those young talents better win the New Japan Cup and beat Goto first shot they get.

It took nearly 2 Hours but Takeshita vs Oleg woke me up with their performances with each other. Oleg looked like he belonged out there and Takeshita was the perfect guy for him to show off what he could do. Takeshita is just the best man

And Naito made it count on that 2nd attempt later in the Match. Maybe Naito and Hiromu can get into a groove as a Tag Team like Naito did with Sanada Years ago.
