New Japan wasnt paying those guys shit for The Bullet Club merchandise profit. They found their cash cow in Tony Kahn. Its never gonna work between the two companys.
Chris Jericho has a match against Hiroshi Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom but that's the extent of NJPW and AEW's relationship. The two companies still aren't on good terms.
Kenny Omega was interviewed by Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez. While AEW and NJPW isn't on the best of terms right now, it could change in the future. It was the higher-ups who didn't understand wrestling who were the problem, not the wrestlers. The wrestlers are friends who don't have any beef with each another.
