New Japan is currently not on good working terms with All Elite Wrestling. Initially, it looked like the two promotions had a lot in common and were going to have a good relationship, but that's no longer the case. Much of it has to do with Jon Moxley, who's signed to AEW but currently performs in NJPW and is the IWGP US Champion. The report notes that Moxley can only wrestle for NJPW shows "that are in Japan. So far he’s only appeared at Dominion and the Best of the Super Juniors finals, which were both in Japan," and it "means that NJPW put its US title on a wrestler who can’t appear for them in the US."

That's too bad really. I was sort of hoping they would have a working agreement like NJPW has had with WCW, the NWA, TNA and ROH.

A reason this may be is that AEW is using talent from DDT-Pro. Michael, Yuka and the other Joshi Wrestlers are/have worked for Tokyo Joshi, which for those who aren't a Japanese Mark is a sub-company of DDT-Pro. As well, you had The Young Bucks bitching about their time over in Japan, so that may factor into it as well. And New Japan is kind of on a rocky partnership with RoH so they may not be trusting of American companies to some degree.

You also have the problem of AEW using New Japan guys as second guys to AEW's own and will have them put over their own guys. Again, just a bunch of things I have seen in the end if New Japan does work with AEW in the end then cool, and if not but DDT-Pro does then cool. Either way, certain American audiences will hate it because putting on a good technical match or strong style match is like reading Shakespeare to a dog.

I just want Kenny Omega exclusive to AEW.

If they have a working relationship, you know he's going to be over there again.

They're upset because they're responsible for Kenny's being relevant at all. Despite getting fired from WWE, wrestling a 9 year old girl and lying about a booking in ROH

If Kenny Omega was irrelevant then why would WWE keep offering him a contract to return for them once again? Seems like desperation on WWE's part to bring back Kenny because he draws in ratings. Anyone can nitpick insignificant issues in a wrestler's career, especially when he's had a successful 18-year run in this business.

You do realize the whole 9-year-old girl thing was a joke towards Harley Race right? Because while trying out for WWE Harley Race told Kenny that he was only fit to wrestle against girls and that he should train with the girls. Also, the girl wanted "to wrestle" with Kenny because of him being her favorite, so they allowed it on her birthday and the promotion it was in, DDT, is a parody of WWE in a way.

18 years? LOL more like the past 2 years because of a 6 star rating

Not surprising. AEW is taking a major bite out of NJPW's ass. AEW is more direct competition to them then the WWE

Yeah. There's been reports that NJPW is gunshy of pushing gaijin because all of them wind up leaving. These guys built themselves up in the Bullet Club, then went over to take over US wrestling when NJPW is trying to get over here. If NJPW is trying to be bigger in the states (formerly with a company who knows the US market and know they plateaued) and guys you helped make stars went out and took the buzz of the US wrestling scene away from you...

New Japan wasnt paying those guys shit for The Bullet Club merchandise profit. They found their cash cow in Tony Kahn. Its never gonna work between the two companys.

They weren't paying as much compared to others in Bullet Club in merch money due to them getting more merch money from RoH and from Pro Wrestling Tees. So New Japan didn't think it was right to pay them more when they getting more money elsewhere. Also, Tony Khan had nothing to do with it at, so why the fuck bring his name randomly in this?

Tony Khan has everything to do with hes the one paying all these top guys that were in New Japan. Because of Tony Khan WWE or New Japan doesnt have Young Bucks or Kenny Omega. I think that hurts New Japan more directly than it does WWE.

Besides Omega, The Bucks and Cody were never "top guys", so that is hilarious. High mid-card guys sure, but never top guys. Also, it doesn't hurt New Japan at all, but I wouldn't expect you to know that all. If AEW wanted to "hurt" New Japan, which is hilarious on its rite, they would have taken guys like Kota Ibushii, Jay White, The Tongas, Will, KENTA, and others like that. When The Bucks and Cody's contract was up with New Japan they didn't really offer for them to come back. So know The Elite leaving New Japan didn't "hurt" New Japan at all and to think that is downright funny as hell.
