Major bouts set for July 13
On July 13, the lucha libre festival that is Fantasticamania comes to the USA for the very first time as Fantasticamania 2024- Lucha Libre USA comes to San Jose. More matches have now been made official to complete the card for what should be a memorable night just one week before G1 Climax 34 gets underway!

A first time ever singles meeting will pit Yota Tsuji against Barbaro Cavernario. The magnetic charisma of both Tsuji and CMLL’s resident caveman Cavernario tangling one on one represents the very essence of Fantasticamania, and though these two last shared a ring on the same side toward the tail end of Tsuji’s Mexican excursion, there will be no love lost when they come to blows in San Jose.
CMLL’s ‘Oyabun’ (big boss) of Los Guerreros Ultimo Guerrero comes across the wild NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd in San Jose. Guerrero is on a mission for gold, taking on Kazuchika Okada in AEW for a shot at their International Championship and now coming for Kidd’s STRONG Openweight gold. Across his legendary career, Guerrero has been in some wild fights with some crazxed individuals, but Kidd has to be up in the top and most dangerous flight.
Plus, for the first time on an NJPW event, the MLW World Tag Team Championships will be defended when the Cozymax side of Satoshi Kojima and OKUMURA face Magnus and Rugido. Kojima has enjoyed incredible success in MLW in 2024, becoming double MLW World Heavyweight and Tag team Champion. With Magnus having been part of the Japanese Fantasticamania this year and he and partner Rugido looking for international successthough, Cozymax will not have an easy night in San Jose.
