A Block focus in Gunma
After an intense streak for the BOSJ 32 competitors with both blocks in tournament action, A Block will be the focal point of night seven in Gunma. The sixth matches for A Block will likely see some falling by the wayside, as the path to the finals grows complicated and the desire to control one's own destiny becomes crucial.

9th Match: A Block- Master Wato (3-2) vs Robbie X (3-2)
Our main event sees a first time encounter for Master Wato and Robbie X. With three wins in the books, Robbie X has had a highly impressivee showing thus far in his debut BOSJ, but wants to be in the hunt in the final stretch of the tournament, and will have to put away a former winner to do so. Master Wato's form has seen early struggles followed by wins in his last two, putting himself on the upper end of the block. Now this battle at six points will determine the leader heading into the final stretch.
8th Match: A Block- Francesco Akira (2-3) vs Dragon Dia (3-2)
Singles record: 1-0 Akira
Now heading into his sixth bout of his second Best of the Super Jr., it only took three matches for Dragon Dia to beat his record from 2024. At six, Dia can point to more than marked improvement year on year; he can count himself as a joint block leader. More year on year growth could be shown tonight as he takes on Francesco Akira. Akira was Dia's first ever opponent in a NJPW ring, on night one of BOSJ 31. A year removed from defeat in a match taken at short notice, will Dia be able to survive and thrive against the Crown of Fire in Gunma, or in what is essentially a must win environment for Akira, can the Italian get back in winning form?
7th Match: A Block- KUSHIDA (3-2) vs Clark Connors (2-3)
It’s a first time singles match for KUSHIDA against Clark Connors, but the two are well familiar with one another in the tag team ranks. Over 2023 and 2024, KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight had several memorable battles with Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney over IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag gold. Now though, it's individual success that's on the mind of both men. Will KUSHIDA stay at the top, or can Clark Connors catch up to the leading pace?
6th match: A Block- Kosei Fujita (3-2) vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru (2-3)
Singles record: 1-1
Kosei Fujita, having lost his last two, looks to reinvigorate a nonetheless impressive run so far against Yoshinobu Kanemaru. The Heel Master at four points is not someone to look past, as Clark Connors and Francesco Akira both found out. Will he trip Fujita up in Gunma, or can the Japanese Young Punk get back on the winning path?
5th Match: A Block- Ninja Mack (2-3) vs Hiromu Takahashi (2-3)
Singles record: 1-0 Hiromu
Ninja bMack takes on Hiromu Takahashi in the first block match of the night, and what could be a spectacular battle. Last year when the two faced off in BOSJ competition, Mack's plans to soar to victory were cut off by the Timt Bomb, who scored the victory in under ten minutes. Will Mack turn the tables tonight, or after finally getting a win and breaking a three match losing streak, will Hiromu stay on track?
4th Match: Kevin Knight, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (SHO, SANADA & Yujiro Takahashi)
A preview of Kevin Knight and SHO's clash in two night's time in Osaka, Honati are brought before the HOUSE OF TORTURE once more in six man action. With Kevin Knight and Hiroshi Tanahashi on the same side, is there anywhere on Earth that can handle a cool quotient this high?
3rd match: Yota Tsuji & Titan vs TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Robbie Eagles)
Yota Tsuji and Titan present an unaffiliated but nonetheless ungorvernable tandem in Gunma for this preview of Titan and Robbie Eagles. This Titan and Eagles' Osaka battle Thursday could well be one of the best of the tournament, and with Gabe Kidd on the horizon at Dominion, Yota Tsuji is sure to deliver an impactful message both in the ring and in his backstage comments.
2nd Match: El Desperado, MAO, Shoma Kato & Masatora Yasuda vs YOH, Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask & Katsuya Murashima
A double preview will see MAO tangle with Ryusuke Taguchi, and El Desperado colliding with YOH before their block matches in two days. With all to play for in B Block, who will get the early upper hand tonight?
1st match: Nick Wayne & Daiki Nagai vs War Dogs (Taiji Ishimori & Gedo)
Action kicks off with a Young Lion in Daiki Nagai teaming with a younger champion in Nick Wayne. The Prodigy will look to find a hint to victory against Taiji Ishimori, who teams with Gedo for this opening contest.
