Main event: BUSHI (0–2) vs El Desperado (1–1)
Singles record: 4–3 Desperado
A Block’s two masked veterans collide in the main event in Niigata. After a very hard earned victory against Youngest Punk Kosei Fujita, El Desperado is 1–1 while BUSHI’s losses to HAYATA and partner Titan sees him scoreless. Though the two have a 4–3 record against one another with Desperado in front, pinfalls and submissions see Despe ahead 4–1, with BUSHI’s other victories coming via disqualification. Will the Jet Black Deathmask close the gap Wednesday?
8th Match: TJP (0–2) vs Clark Connors (1–1)
Singles record: 2–2
Familiar foes TJP and Clark Connors collide in the semi main event. Catch 2/2 and all of United Empire’s history with the War Dogs is well documented, but for TJP and Connors specifically, ties bind them well beyond the present day. The Public Enemy was a mentor and tag partner for Connors early in his career, before leaving his LA Dojo allegiance behind to join United Empire in the first place. In more ways than one, Clark is who he is now because of TJP, and that responsibility will be brought to bear with two important points on the line tonight.
7th Match: Titan (2–0) vs HAYATA (1–1)
A first time ever meeting sees the undefeated Titan face 1–1 HAYATA. Tityan’s opening match victory over EL Desperado was followed by another submission win against partner BUSHI. Meanwhile HAYATA followed his own day one victory against BUSHI with defeat against Clark Connors. Who comes out on top tonight?
6th Match: Blake Christian (2–0) vs Yoshinobu Kanemaru (1–1)
The sixth match of the evening sees undefeated Blake Christian against the 1–1Yoshinobu kanemaru. All Heat has already cheated his way to victory in this tournament against Clark Connors and Kevin Knight, but Yoshinobu Kanemaru is master of the dark arts, and may well teach a few tricks the hard way to the GCW Champion.
5th Match: Kevin Knight (1–1) vs Kosei Fujita (1–1)
It’ll be a hot start to the tournament action tonight when Kevin Knight takes on Kosei Fujita. The two hot rising stars got off to strong starts on night one when Knight defeated TJP and Fujita picked up the W against Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Then in Korakuen, Knight was hard done by with a shady loss against Blake Christian, while Fujita wrestled his heart out on the way to a crushing defeat to El Desperado. Who can get two more points on the board tonight?
4th Match: Los Ingobernables De Japon (Hiromu Takahashi & Tetsuya Naito) vs Dragon Dia & Tomoaki Honma)
Tetsuya Naito returns from action in the US to join Hiromu Takahashi in this tag team preview of Hiromu’s match with Dragon Dia Thursday in Gunma. Dia’s partner is a man who has long been tormented by Naito in the past in Tomoaki Honma. Will Kokeshi make Niigata happy?
3rd Match: Tiger Mask & KUSHIDA vs United Empire (Francesco Akira & Callum Newman)
A classic Hontai pairing of KUSHIDA and Tiger Mask face United Empire in tag action, with Callum Newman not about to lose anything in terms of pace against his junior heavyweight foes.
2nd Match: Just Five Guys (DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku) vs BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Drilla Moloney & Gedo)
As DOUKI prepares for Drilla Moloney in Gunma, tag action sees TAKA Michinoku and Gedo join the mix, and a veteran flavour added to the two teams.
1st Match: Ninja Mack & Katsuya Murashima vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (SHO & Yujiro Takahashi)
A tag preview of Ninja Mack vs SHO Thursday will see Mack with Katsuya Murashima. Can they bring some justice to HOUSE OF TORTURE in our kickoff?
