Royal Rumble Nixing Cena vs Taker and It's Effect on the Rumble

A rumor I've read floating around is Roman vs. Goldberg @ Fastlane for
the Universal title...So...if Brock wins the Rumble...

Wrestlemania:
Goldberg vs. Brock for the Universal Title...Brock Wins Goldberg retires...
A.J Styles vs. Cena for the World Title...Double turn...Cena wins...
Taker vs. Strowman...Strowman wins...Taker retires...

I know Roman will be in there somewhere...I just wish he wasn't...

It really is too hard to guess/predict how this is all going to unfold...

I'm sure the picture will look clearer after the Rumble, the Chamber &
Fastlane...but until then...I'm just going to look at this photo...

Yeah, after looking at my original post again, I realize I didn't really express what I was thinking very well. I put too much emphasis on Joe vs Styles, when my real though was how possible Joe vs Cena would be. I was trying to make a case for Joe winning the rumble and being a realistic match for either Cena or Styles. I guess I just understated Cena because anyone vs Cena doesn't need much justification. AJ vs Joe needs more justification, which is probably why I focused on it.

Someone brought up that they felt like a kid again seeing the buildup to this Royal Rumble. "Ooooh! Strowman could win this! No, what about Rollins! OH! LESNAR AND GOLDBERG ARE THERE! It's the freaking Undertaker! Hell even Bray Wyatt since AJ needs a contender after all? Oh, but they're building up Strowman just for SAMI ZAYN to get the last elimination, yeah!"

It feels like in the promo package that WWE will put out so many guys will be actual options to win the Rumble, not just "Suppose it's Triple H or Roman", or "IT BETTER BE DANIEL FUCKING BRYAN" or "Cena Wins LOL" we've experienced in the last four years

Plus there could be the main roster debuts of Samoa Joe & Tye "10" Dillinger...
A surprise return of Finn Balor...A possible Triple H cameo...its almost like every
number...1 through 30 will be somebody who could logically win it or at least make
a huge impact and get the crowd fired up.

I personally hope Charlotte gets a run...just because...well...I'm a fanboy and she'd
join a very elite group of women in doing so.

Its clearly going to be the best Rumble match they've put on in a few years.

Awesome build up to the rumble. I have a feeling it won't be Joe winning it however.

Honestly I'm not a 100% positive on who will win it right now but im certain joe and styles won't main event. My money is still on the following:

Balor
Taker
Strowman

I'd prefer to have taker vs John at this point of it means heel Cena and takers last match.

But, I wouldn't mind a Balor win with him beating Roman at mania either.

Strowman is the wildcard. Vince may decide big man needs to show strength again so big man wins. And we could get Roman vs strowman.

Also can't help but think this is just a brilliant work by WWE. Good chance they still have plans for Cena vs Undertaker, but just by showing Strowman backstage we can say "ooooooh. Maybe that's their plan instead?"
Otherwise, it would really feel like Undertaker's more of a foregone conclusion after that promo. Now, Cena and Taker can win their matches and it'll be somewhat of a surprise, while still having the build of "Wow, anyone can win it this year!"
