I don't remember it. Either way, his original movies are good and the first Halloween remake movie was good. But Halloween 2 is just a fucking disgrace.

Rob Zombie is the biggest fucking blueberry ever. His films aren't horrors, they're gore fests that simply make you feel sick. They're for annoying fucking 14 year olds who can go around talking about the films like they're bad ass. soyeah.

How do you feel about James Wan, director/producer of the Saw films and director of *shutter* Dead Silence and Eli Roth, director of Cabin Fever and the Hostel movies?

How do you feel about Tobe Hooper, director of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist and Lifeforce? How about Wes Craven, director of the original Hills Have Eyes, Last House on the Left, Serpent & the Rainbow and the original Nightmare on Elm Street?

People back in the 70's/80's were saying the same things about Hooper and Craven that you're saying now about Rob Zombie.

Personally, I'm pretty hit or miss with Rob's movies, but I wouldn't call him the biggest fucking blueberry ever.

Also, shouldn't 1000 Corpses being 1000 times better? I guess that would have been too clever.

Honestly, I wrote it as tongue in cheek because I believe it's the one of the few roles in which he dies. I wouldn't say he's as great as Sellers or Wilder, but he does get close at times. It seems like he's looked at only as the "go to" guy for eclectic roles and he's chosen way too often when I'd rather see some variety in casting choices. Call it overkill, if you like. I can't deny he does have a great list of roles under his belt, though.

And I agree - Devil's Rejects trumps 1000 Corpses.

My final gripe is that instead of being a known child molester and murderer, Freddie's only suspected of being a molester. They never come out and say he did it, as though they're trying to make him a semi-sympathic character. Okay, then, he's not a murderer, why does he wear the glove? And none of the kids that grow up remember he molested them? Come on! I can understand a few of them blocking the painful memory, but all of them? I ain't buying that.

You obviously didn't see this because it's spelled out explicitly that he was a pedophile. Nancy and Quentin find pictures of Freddy obviously performing sexual acts on Nancy. They never show the pictures but you can tell by their reactions and then they say Freddy is hunting them because they told the truth as children.

I liked Saw and Dead Silence. While being hugely gory, they were also very "scary" imo. Simply for the fact that there was, in Dead Silence, that sickening feeling of being oblivious as to what could/will happen. Saw was the type of film that if you watched any more than 3 hours could actually make you mentally ill. It was pre-meditated, twisted and full of insane people. Horrible for me.

Hostel was the most disgusting and unnecessarily violent film I've ever seen. Don't plan on seeing the second or third, it was a seriously stupid film.

Never seen a Tobe Hooper film. Don't hit me.

Hills have Eyes and Nightmare on Elm Street were actually frightening imo. The whole idea of it, doubles up with me being quite young when watching (born in 84) makes for a very long period of sleepless nights. I'll just say that Gory films do not make people kill themselves. Elm Street did, without being insanely gory for it's time.

Seen it twice so far,probably one of my favorite horror movie remakes ever besides Night Of The Living Dead that was remade in 99'. Jackie Earl Haylie did a great job as Freddy,but I felt that he was underused just like Ebert & Rupert said when they said their movie review online. Outta time I would rate the movie 9/10 & 4/5. I can't wait til it comes on dvd i'll make sure to pick it up & add it to my Freddy collection.
