I'm very much a filthy casual when it comes to hockey. But I'll try to keep up with the NHL next year if/when Elias Pettersson moves over to Vancouver full time.

Kid is an absolute stud. Won the pre-play offs scoring and point league in the SHL as a 19 year old and set the new rookie scoring record. Then repeated all that in the play offs and went on to lead his team to win the play off finals 4 games to 0. Awarded the play off MVP award doing so.

Also the kid's from my hometown so gotta root for the boy. His brother who belongs to Nashville (but playing for Milwaukee right now) is actually one of my brother's best friends.

I like Hockey, my team is the Edmonton Oilers we didn't make it... then I rooted for my hometown team in the Columbus Blue Jackets who performed better than previous years but didn't escape the first round now I'm onto the Golden Knights.. no particular reason for Vegas, just think it would be fun to see them take home the cup their first year.
