Additional Information: Matthews grew up in poor part of Memphis, raised by a single mother after his father abandoned them when Logan was only 3. Because of his hard upbringing where money was tight and he and his mother had to do everything they could to keep a roof over their heads, Matthews grew a strong desire to live up to what he believed was full potential. After graduating at the top of his class, with an associates in Communication, from a local college, Logan worked to put himself through wresting school until he turned pro since age 20. He started out in local promotions in Memphis before going international to Mexico and Japan to hone his craft in his quest to become the best in the world. It paid off for him as he quickly gained international recognition and several titles. Eventually Matthews made his way back to America where he was noticed by the number one promotion in the world. After a try-out match he was soon signed to a developmental contract but was released right before he made it the main roster but an altercation with two main eventers after a dark match dashed his hopes as he was quietly released soon after. The setback only served to motivate the young up and comer because now his only goal is to show everyone, including his former employer, that he is the best in the ring and is too good to be overlooked.
