I think it is more of the other way around. DeSean takes up so much of the defense's attention it made Maclin more useful than he would otherwise be. He is a league average #2 WR IMO. I think Cooper (if he isn't cut for being racist) could fill in just fine.
DeSean and Shady mcCoy are the keys to that offense, not Maclin.
He won't be cut Cooper that is, for his racist comment, the man is not racist in general.Vick the next day and a few others came and said, we know Cooper and this isn't him, basically saying they will love him still as a teammate.News though he's off to seek sensitivity counseling, but he will be back.He's huge Vick or Foles, it seems to be Vick who is getting the 1st team reps, can easily throw in the ball in the air and he can catch it easily.I know DeSean is easily number 1, but Maclin to my knowledge had more receptions, and the past few years, when DeSean went down like when he had his concussion, Maclin stepped up.Remember these guys are still still young, they are getting better every season.I think for McCoy to be the major key is the offensive line, aka Jason Peters.McCoy ran on his side majority of the time, if he's healthy, McCoy destroys defenses.
