Yeah that is something I def agree with. Even if your receivers have very sure hands... you run that ball. Any drop stops the clock. Anything can be picked off, QB could wind up being sacked and lose the ball. Running is the safest and staying in bounds. They can't do that next week. Any extra time allotted equals more time for Brady to possibly operate.
