NFL week 1 is so damn crazy anyhow. Anyone remember what the Jets did W1 last year?

I feel like a fool for wasting so much of my check on games that I can admit I have little idea what will happen. I have theories, but week 1 is unpredictable ultimately.

I'm like a kid on X Mas morning waiting for kickoff. 2 HOURS 47 MINUTES HNNNNNNNNNNG

Falcons are the better team. People have laid down some crazy ideology that somehow makes the Saints go from contender to scrub back to contender again, all dependent on Payton's presence. I don't see it that way. I did at first, but after really putting some thought into it, the Saints just aren't what they used to be and it isn't Payton that is the problem. That defense is beyond dog shit.

The Sean Payton thing should give them more motivation if nothing else, plus they had those limitations when they were a contender as well. They had Sharper getting like 10 interceptions but iirc they were still bottom 5 in the league in defense. The O-Line wasn't great but Brees' release covered for that, the offense wasn't at 100% last year and Payton should help that somewhat.

When posting that was thinking that the Falcons' D minus Brent Grimes couldn't be that much better than the Saints, but forgot about Asante. Still if Osi can't regain his old form that defense is gonna be a mess. But hey, that passing game should be equally explosive. You could be right on this one.

CAN'T WAIT! :yay:

Saints D has a whole lot less talent now compared to then. As for ATL losing Grimes, he was hurt all of last season anyhow. Osi with a chip on his shoulder and health on his side (for now) could be the biggest difference maker on either defense (he is better than any defender the Saints have by default).

I don't like ATL's D, but they have much more talent than NO. I can safely say that 7 or 8 of NO's defensive starters wouldn't be starting for any other team besides maybe Oakland. Not to mention they are going 3-4, which they don't have the players for.

Peyton Manning is the best to ever spin it IMO

I just love Brady's story, 6th round pick behind guys that never amounted to anything. Was told he doens't have a good arm, was too skinny, and wouldn't be a NFL starter.

It's an interesting comparision because of Manning was the clear cut #1

I however think Peyton is slightly better because dude just makes EVERY throw.

Chargers only have 'fans' when they are winning. Shouldn't have to worry about that this year.

True, but all the workers from Quallcomm stop by...actually have met a Chargers player once though. He was pissed because I didn't give him a discount, and didn't know who he was.
